The staying was fantastic and the hotel is just 5 minutes away from the train station. Our room overlooked Edinburgh Castle and this gave us an excellent view we did not expected. Breakfast was good and full of variety. Overall a great experience.

“Living in the Lap of Luxury”

I had booked this accommodation three weeks before my trip to Edinburgh during the busiest time of year. Having found this very reasonable deal through Expedia I was just grateful that I had found somewhere to stay for three days. I did not expect it to be the sublime experience that it turned out to be. My room was massive, I had room service several times and whilst it is not cheap, if you're staying at the Hilton you are probably already prepared for the prices and the service is exceptional. There were all the usuals: Power shower/ power hairdryer/ iron/ more than enough hangers/ bath robes etc. The only thing that could have been a problem was that the gym was being renovated which had not been in the hotel info when I booked. But then I was not using it, so it didn't bother me in the slightest. I'm hoping to use the hotel again next year and highly recommend it to everyone who likes their trips to be entirely stress free and luxurious.

Staying at the Caledonian was absolutely superb. I was visiting Edinburgh for both business and holiday and the location was perfect for both. The hotel is located right in the hustle and bustle of the city and not a far walk from anywhere else you may want to visit in the city. I found the staff extremely helpful and wanted to grant my every wish. I would absolutely refer a friend or colleague to this beautiful hotel and will return myself whenever i am back in Edinburgh.
