There for the Fringe and found this to be perfectly placed for venues, as well as shops, sights etc.

I stayed here with a friend and we both thought the room was very clean and comfortable and looked very much like the pictures on their website. It's convenient if you plan on doing most of sight-seeing and eating/drinking in the old town but it is quite a walk from the new town. Would stay here again

“What a Gem!”

Ten Hill Place is a gorgeous little hotel, beautifully decorated and blessed with excellent staff. It's also only a 10min walk to the Royal Mile so what more could you ask for?! The only negative is that the breakfast area is quite small which means you sometimes have to wait to be seated. Given that this is such a gem of a hotel it's hardly an imposition.

“Excellent Modern Hotel”

My wife and I found the hotel to be almost perfect. We had a corner room that was very large, exceptionally clean, and modern with full amenities including internet access via laptop or through their LCD TV. It is located a very short walk down a major street from the Royal Mile and all of the city activity. If arriving by train it can be reached walking but with heavy bags most travelers will want to take a short taxi ride. There is also a wonderful airport shuttle service that can be scheduled with the front desk. We arrived at the airport in less than 30min using it. The only fault we could find was that we could hear a small amount of street noise in our room even with the windows fully closed.

“Good value for Edinburgh”

Excellent locetion for the Royal Mile, Castle etc but in a quiet road. Clean and modern with friendly staff plus great buffet breakfast catering for vegetarians too! Only question -Why a glass door into what is a superb bathroom?

This hotel was all that we required for our stay in Edinburgh. Smart and close enough to the city to be accessible. Breakfast was very good and buffet-style is always welcome.

“Great hotel, convenient location”

We had two great nights at the Ten Hill Place in June 2008. The hotel seems to be a fairly new building. The service and our room were both great. It is only a few minutes to resturants and a 10 minute walk to the Royal Mile. We would definitely go back.
