“Fantastic Hotel”

The staff, we're friendly, polite and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were beatifully decorated and very clean throughout. The location is perfect to explore Edinburgh, really central. We would definately stay there again.

“Sheraton Grand Fantastic”

Fantastic hotel , modern stylish and warm . Good atmosphere . Staff were polite friendly and always helpful. We arrived at 8.30am but they made our room available and informed us we could use the club lounge immediately The staff at the SPA made you feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The ladies in the club room where friendly, funny and very accommodating. Very approachable and a great sense of humour. The club rooms was well worth the upgrade and selection of continental breakfast and evening nibbles were great Took my partner on a weekend break and will definitely return to this hotel again soon . Can’t say enough good things . Recommend Mikirdy's Steak restaurant around the corner from hotel amazing Fillet Steak stuffed with Haggis

“Great stay”

Stayed for one night and can't fault it. There are some rennovations going on just now but staff done everything to make stay comfortable. Rooms recently decorated and have everything you need. Would definately go back!

“Great Spa Experience”

Our room wasn't particularly inspiring although clean and comfortable, but the Spa facilities were excellent. Wrap and massage treatments were amazing and the rooftop thermal pool was great. We also ate in the Spa cafe, which was very good, the Exchange (nice enough) and had room service for breakfast (good). We had an early check-in without any difficulty and check out was handled speedily.

“Nice hotel, at a price”

This is a very nice hotel with good facilities and in an excellent position for Edinburgh inner city. However the spa facilities open to guests are quite limited, with most of it coming under a seperately managed facility with extra charges. Make sure You know how to get there, as at least the access by car is not straightforward and not very well shown by signs.

“Staff”

Travelled with an ageing Mother and wanted rooms close together. Staff could not have been more helpful in arranging this.

“Great staff, can't see how it's five star though”

Only stayed for one night, but at xxx per night I was expecting a little more. The staff were great, but this hotel is in dire need of a refurbishment. The rooms were as clean as they possibly could be after many years, but the ingrained dirt and yellowing of the bathroom was definitely noticeable. Good staff, good food and would stay again if it was at 4 star prices.

“Sheraton heaven!”

This was the first time to Edinburgh. The hotel was excellent. Not there long enough to take advantage of all the amenities but would recommend to all. The buffet breakfast was exceptional!! Have stayed in a Sheraton before and their beds are like sleeping on air!!
