Not soundproof, but otherwise comfortable.

Location: Great location. Arthur's Seat, Calton Hill, Royal Mile, The National Museum of Scotland, The University and the Meadows are within minutes of walking.
Bright, comfortable. Not so quiet. Free wifi. Good location, minutes away from the Meadows, Royal Mile and other tourist attracions.

very clean and comfortable close to city centre

Posted 12-May-2015
Pros: very clean, comfortable room. It is within walking distance of the city centre and the area seemed very safe and quiet.
Cons: the bathroom was very small albeit well designed for the space available. The bathroom extractor fan was so noisy we had to keep it switched off.
Location: Great location, walking distance to the city centre, we walked to the sights from the hotel both days of our stay.
The apartment was very modern and clean, it appeared very new and recently refurbished. It was nice to have the kitchen area and sofa/TV area separate from the sleeping area. We didn't really use the kitchen as we were only there for two nights, but I can see how useful it would be if we were staying longer. We did not arrive until late (after midnight) but a member of reception staff was still on the desk and we were able to check in without a problem, which was a big relief! The hotel was in a great location, Arthur's Seat is right next to it, and it is a two minute walk into Holyrood.

Very small, but good facilities

Posted 20-Apr-2015
Pros: Location, shower and kitchen
Cons: Size
Location: Lots of shops, restaurants nearby, plus the city centre is very close.
The apartment was a 20 minute walk from the Royal Mile and easy to find. We were able to check-in early, which was great. Size-wise, it was very small, the bed was only just large enough for 2 adults. The kitchen was very well equipped and the shower was fantastic. On the downside, most of the other apartments are occupied by students and there was noise late at night that kept me awake. The curtain was also broken and didn't close properly.

Cossy, clean and close to the city centre

It was such a great weekend for us. The apartment was clean and well maintained and the location is perfect to stay close to the centre but in a quiet area with access to supermarkets and shops.

Near the University of Edinburgh, no frills

Posted 24-Nov-2014 on Hotels.com
Excellent space if you're seeking to stay near the University of Edinburgh - great little eat-in kitchen facilities, although I could see the studios being a bit cramped for more than two guests (and even at that, you really need to like your travel companion!). There are students living in the building on separate floors, so you do hear the odd loud noises. Overall, a nice little spot to stay if you're looking for a non-standard hotel option.

Pros: Location / Staff / friendliness
Great location ten minute walk to Waverley Station and city centre. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. If we go back to Edinburgh we would definitely stay here again, great value for money!
