“Murrayfield Hotel”

Having stayed in many hotels in Edinburgh, was really pleasantly surprised by this one. Staff were super friendly and went out of their way for you. Opted for an executive room, which was huge, well decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was superb. Could only get wifi downstairs which was the only issue. All in all really enjoyed being there and will stay again when in Edinburgh next.

Fab hotel in a great location. Staff very friendly and will do anything for you. Bar and restaurant very welcoming. Rooms comfortable with everything you need from a large bath, power shower and even a kettle and tea and coffee. Have told all our friends and family about it and will def go back. 10 mins in a taxi to centre of town and on site parking.

We absolutely adored the location of this hotel, everything was simply lovely, staff was so kind, friendly, helpful & polite, the rooms were just lovely and had everything we could want, the neighborhood was perfectly placed and simply stunning... a visual delight! The hotel was beautifully appointed, fully functional and all the amenities fit so nicely into such a compact space! Yes, the room is small, but that's as to be expected, being an American I know that everything overseas is quite small, compared. My husband is 6'2" 58 years old & I am 5'9" 47 years old, but we slept quite comfortably and moved around the room just fine :) We couldn't have been happier with our accomodations.

In Edinburgh for "The Fringe Fest'. Hotel well located for centre of town. Good bus route,half hour walk. Very comfortable room. Excellent breakfasts.

“A Real Find”

The Murrayfield Hotel & Lodge was exactly as described when booking. It is easy to find, ideally situated, fifteen minutes bus ride from the Airport and ten minutes bus ride into Town. We walked in which took about 25 minutes to Princes Street at a brisk rate. The Hotel was clean and spacious, had a big Bar which served good, value for money meals. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We slept in the Lodge which was a couple of buildings down the road. First impression was that it was dark and gloomy but this was due to the energy saving light bulbs!! The room was warm, clean and comfortable and had everything you needed even though you wouldn't describe it as attractive! On both mornings of our stay we had to be up and away by 7am so they very kindly arranged early Continental breakfasts for us which we had in the comfortable Dining Room in the Hotel. We would not hesitate to stay at the Murrayfield again as it really was very good value for money.

“Very pleasant stay”

Just returned from a 3 day break in Edinburgh. Stayed in the Lodge which has been recently refurbished. Very welcoming hotel staff. Excellent food (can only comment on bar food), very high quality. Excellent bus service to city centre and airport. Directly opposite Murrayfield Stadium. Nice walk (direct route) to Princes street and Castle. Would definately choose this hotel again.

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and the hotel was a home from home. It is right across the road from the Murrayfield stadium! We will be back next year and will take in some rugby at the same time!

“Best hotel for Rugby experience.”

Lovely place. Extension has worked well. We had a lovely room in the lodge, no need to go outside for access anymore. Good value for money food and staff remembered us from last year. Very friendly. Considering further trip to see more of beautiful Edinburgh without the rugby.
