“Silk sheets are not comfortable”

Picardy Place describes it's rooms as luxurious. Whilst our room was tastefully furnished the decor needed some freshening up and the "silk" sheets,pillowcases and duvet were absolutely not comfortable, especially in summer.The miserly one, old towel per person was also lacking in luxury.Initial disappointment at a lack of cooked breakfast was mitigated by the en suite kitchenette where the continental breakfast was left, enabling breakfast to be taken at leisure. 10 min walk to Waverley Station means a pretty good location near the New Town. It wouldn't take much to improve these niggles and then I would recommend the hotel with it's ostentatious bar downstairs.

“No service , worst service”

Although conveinent location, service was worst. No dedicated hotel staff. No one to help you from 1 am till 10 am. As Pub in hotel act as reception. No phone to call. Towel never changed, much to add. I wont suggest this so called "hotel"
