“Taste of Edinburgh”

Were at Taste of Edinburgh and the Marriott was a good choice of hotel. Bought a run around bus ticket and just hopped on and off the buses to get in and out of Edinburgh. Great swimming pool and sauna at the Marriott.

Nothing like a Marriott. Very nice hotel. The restaurant was kind of snobbish but the meal was good. I would recommend staying here. I know I will stay here again.

“Great Hotel close to the airport”

This hotel is great. Its only about 10 mins from the airport (the Airport Link bus drops you right out the front) and its only 10/15 mins by bus into Edinburgh (these buses pick you up right out the front also and only cost one pound). It is a great hotel if you don't mind staying a little big out of the city. Also had a really comfy king size bed and a great breakfast (although this was not included in our price) but it was worth the money.

The hotel was very comfortable compared to any other hotel I have stayed at in Europe. Maybe because it is a hotel chain they maintain certain standards that many of us as American have grown to expect.The room was a great size with large amounts of room for luggage and relaxing. The beds were quite comfortable with nice bedding. They had an adequate size TV with several channels and the option to pay for a movie. One of the biggest satisfactions was that this hotel has central air and heat!! The room and hotel were clean and the staff helpful and polite.

Hotel is in a great location for public transportation. It is about a ten minute bus ride into downtown civic center. Room very neat and clean and has a great indoor pool and hot tub. Staff very helpful. Free parking.

Great stay in this hotel. Lovely spacious family room for four, extremely clean and bathroom well stocked with toiletries. Speedy check-in and check-out, excellent buffet breakfast and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again and would particularly recommend to families with children. Ours spotted dozens of rabbits in the garden - bonus!

Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful and attentive. Food great and service on the ball. My children were made to feel very comfortable and it was with easy reach of City Centre by bus so as to leave the car.
