“1st class accommodation”

Quality of welcome brilliant - first class service with a welcome drink & accommodated a slightly earlier breakfast. The spread and quality of the breakfast would put many 4 or 5 star hotels to shame. Georgian building so rooms are roomy and airy and extremely comfortable with 2 antique chairs to sit on.

“The best we have stayed in”

The hotel was only a bus ride away from the main city, with a bus stop right outside the hotel. There is a constant stream of buses, with approx one per minute. The hotel itself was a haven of peace and quite, with nothing to much trouble for the owners. Our room was excellent, and somewhere where we could relax in comfort and some style. The breakfast was excellent, although most folk will struggle to finish the full plate. We would recommend this hotel to anyone going to stay in Edinburgh.
