“Wonderful experience, first rate staff.”
Wonderful stay, starting with the first rate service. Each and every employee we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Great location in the heart of the old city with good proximity to points of interest.
“Hotel Missoni - cool and stylish”
Great staff, excellent cocktails and superbs rooms and spaces in the hotel.
“Great Hotel for a stay in Edinburgh.”

“Swank hotel with great service and design”
This is a great hotel, right on a corner on the Royal Mile and thus in easy walking reach of most attractions in both Old and New Town. The hotel is elegant and comfortable, with all the lovely design elements you'd associate with Missoni. Attention to detail is excellent. The room contains a Nespresso coffee machine and a mini-bar with complimentar beverages and snacks. The staff are friendly and professional. Service includes two items laundered at no extra charge per full day. Two minor quibbles: (1) the room service breakfast promised their 'famous' bomboloni, which were not delivered with the otherwise excellent meal; (2) the room was not made up until late afternoon. The housekeepingr staff was excellent, but the hotel should lay on more workers in busy periods so that guests can come back to a made up room for a rest in the afternoon. (I was out quite early in the morning, so I did think the room would have been ready by noon.) Otherwise, this was a near perfect hotel, which I would definitely recommend to anyone.
“Great for everyone”
Wonderful experience from the moment we walked though the door. Welcoming, friendly and knowledgable staff. The room was excellent, both comfy and with a great view over old town and Arthur's seat. Breakfast was included with our room and was excellent although if it hadn't been included we probably would have skipped it as the price is quite high. The location is perfect, very central with everything we wanted to do in easy walking distance. I would happily recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
“Missing out if you don't book...”
Stayed here for our wedding anniversary last weekend and what a great hotel. Location is spot on just off Royal Mile; 5 minute walk from Princes Street and surrounded by great bars and cafes. Concierge were great with helping book 2 fab restaurants 21212 and Kanpai. Definitely stay here again....what's more you also get a complimentary mini bar!!!
This hotel was amazing! They thought of everything you might need during your stay. From the minute we pulled up at the hotel doors the staff was welcoming and helpful. I would definitely go back!
“A great hotel!”
A great hotel with a fantastic attention to detail in all areas. Luxury, style and a great location all add up to really good value for money overall. Thouroughly recommended!
“Excellent choice, highly recommended.”
From the moment we arrived at The Missoni the service was excellent. A kilted doorman greeted us, took our bags and welcomed us to Edinburgh. He delivered us to reception to check in whilst giving tips on what to see during our stay. He gave us a map and chatted about things to do and the ways to see the city. We were early to the hotel (10am) and although checking time is 3pm, the guy at the desk said he'd call us if we could have the room earlier. We left our bags and headed to get our bearings. The hotel location is perfect, just off the Royal Mile, a short walk to the castle. We headed down Royal Mile and wandered across the bridge taking in the sites and browsing in shops. The guy from the hotel called around an hour after we'd left and told us our room was ready. Great! The room was great, floor to ceiling windows with views of St Giles cathedral .We had a twin room and the beds were very comfy. At the Missoni, the mini bar and snacks are complimentary which is a lovely touch. The spacious rain shower is great and the heated floor an added bonus, along with the Missoni robes and slippers. We had breakfast included so could choose from the buffet AND have something from the kitchen. I opted for the Eggs Benedict and my mother chose the Scottish Breakfast, both were delicious and the service faultless. We had drinks in the bar on two occasions and both times the staff were delightful and attentive. I will be returning to Edinburgh and will book the Missoni every time.
