“Can't wait to return to Edinburgh.”

One of the best weekend breaks we have ever had. Edinburgh was fantastic. Hotel just as we expected. Staff very friendly and knwledgeable, they were able to direct us to places of interest. Ideal location, just off the Royal Mile. Great food and pubs close by. Close to Waverley Bridge for sightseeing bus tours. Green bus with live guide was the best.

“Modern Italian Elegance in the Heart of Edinburgh”

The Hotel Missoni on Edinburgh's Royal Mile is a lovely modern yet elegant hotel conveniently located near many tourist attractions. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed with the trademark Missoni linens and robes. The mini bar is complimentary which is a nice change and is replaced daily. In addition the hotel will launder two items free of charge each day which makes it great for business travelers. However, if you've come to see Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace you can't beat the location. The hotel puts you close to both attractions within easy walking distance. Upon arrival the staff takes the time to completely familiarize you with all the room features. The only disappointment was the spa which we didn't get to try because it was booked solid for the entire weekend.

“First night in Edinburgh”

The location of the Missoni was great. We were able to walk everywhere easily. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We did enjoy the restaurant for almost all our meals because it provided a calm place to relax. Loved the hotel and wanted a comfortable modern place to rest before we went on our 5 day Highland Tour. This hotel did it.

“Fun, vibrant, modern, cool”

Great location. Rooms smallish but very comfortable, clean with excellent bedding. Cool bar. Lovely food in the restaurant with excellent service. Love the missoni kilts that the porters wear!

I can't recommend this hotel enough, staff very helpful and friendly, rooms are immaculate and beautifully designed, perfect location as right next to the Royal Mile and amenities are also exceptional. I would recommend asking for a sea view room as these are stunning.

“You'll be treated like a film star - first class staff & hotel!”

I was looking for a touch of class in Edinburgh to celebrate our first anniversary - something a little special which we would remember forever - and I found it at the Hotel Missoni! The first striking thing about Hotel Missoni is the friendly staff, the professionalism and care which they provide - it feels like nothing is too much trouble! They're also cool and fashionable - which helps you feel great on your break! From the bar, to the restaurant to the rooms - this hotel has it all - and I've had problems with hotels in the city before, however you won't go wrong here! The walk in rain showers are stunning, as are the views of the city. The hotel is immaculate and is designed to make you feel like a film star. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - and duty manager Carolyn gave us such a warm welcome! You're right on the Royal Mile, perfect for the Castle, Grassmarket, the North Bridge, Princes Street and George Street - we particularly enjoyed an evening stroll past the Castle to a street of fine restaurants. I've gone wrong in Edinburgh before - I had a terrible stay at the Carlton on the North Bridge. On exploring the city - looking at hotels I considered when pricing up the weekend - I discovered that similar priced hotels can be shocking. The Glasshouse was dirty, a filthy carpet and cold, unwelcoming staff. If you're going away for a treat - you'll get the perfect weekend at the Hotel Missoni - they just get it right.

Stayed here for one night and can't complain about anything. Great location. Very nice, comfortable room. Free minibar (although limited) is a nice touch. Would def go back

“Missioni Magic”

Excellent hotel, extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was fabulous and even though we arrived late in the evening they sorted out a room. The breakfast was excellent, the selection was really good, so many delicious cakes and breads to chose from. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the the attention to detail superb. It was a refreshing change to stay in a high end hotel where the staff weren't stuffy. I would definitely recomend this hotel and I am looking forward to returning soon.

“Italian Paradise”

Absolutely beautiful hotel. From the swanky bar, to the luxurious bathroom fixtures, the convenient central location (near both High Kirk of St. Giles and Grassmarket), to the excellent restaurant Cucina, everything about the stay was wonderful. Many little details were appreciated, including high quality bathrobes and slippers, unscented lotion, room safe, padded clothes hangers, complimentary minibar and movies, and in-room single-serving espresso machine. Room service menu was simple but enough for a square meal. Service was attentive without attitude. Was not there during the August Festival rush, so can't comment on the experience during super busy times. Nevertheless, I wish I could have stayed for a month!
