“Nice apartment”

The apartments were nice and very clean. Great sea views. However I felt out on a limb being a few miles outside the city. The no 10 bus service was great during the day, but less frequent in the evening making it a bit of hassle to get back after an evening out Overall though, very good

“Great Holiday in Scotland”

This hotel/apartment was a delight to stay in. For a very reasonable fair we had a 2 bedroom apartment with an ocean view! In addition the free wireless and parking give this place even more bang for your buck.

“Serviced Appartments, Edinburgh”

Serviced Appartments in Leith, Edinburgh. Bus to Princess Street stops just outside. Appartments are within walking distance of a supermarket and The Ocean Terminal where there are shops, restaurants and access to the Royal Yacht Britannia. The appartment is comfortable with cooking facilities, dishwasher, washing machine and hairdrier included. Represents good value for money and I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

“Will be back regularly!”

Amazing value, a beautiful 2 bed apartment in a brand new complex, with views over the harbour on 2 sides, decorated to a high standard and with all the appliances you could need! The only slight downsides were that the building was still being completed, but the noise level was amazingly low considering, and one or two finishing touches had been overlooked. (The tap was not properly fixed to the sink etc) I would certainly recommend staying here, and will do so myself at least once a month!

“Great self catering apartment with convenient access to city and highlands”

The apartment was even better then I anticipated based on other reviews. The property was clean and well maintained. The location, with a bus stop one block away to the #10 line that goes right to the center of the city, a large grocery store within walking distance and easy access to the firth of forth bridge for access to all areas north, was awesome. I would not hesitate to make this the basis for another trip to Scotland.

“Great Apartment”

Nice apartments, easy parking - site is still partial building site, but that doesn't cause any problems. Close to Ocean Drive (1km) with good cinema and restaurants as well as shopping.

“Very impressed, nice alternative to a hotel”

I was impressed by the size of the flat, quite large. Also, nearby is a 24 Hour Asda where you can buy your groceries. This is an ideal location to use as a base for exploring the surrounding area. I was getting a little sick & tired of Hotel food - so a collegue suggested I go self catering stay at these flats. I am glad I did, and I will do so again. Some of the fittings in the flat, are a little second rate - but on the plus side, you get nice sofa's, LCD screen TV. You can cook & eat when you want to and you are not restricted to a hotel menu - obviously you have to supply your own food. They provide cutlery. pots , pans, etc.. I left my car in the underground car park and caught the no 10 bus (2.50 all day ticket) to get into Edinburgh. The bus stop is opposite the flats. I had a great stay and stunning scenary from my window. Fianl note, they do take a 200 pound deposit (credit card), to cover for loss or damage for items / to the flat.

“Fantastic Out of City Appartment”

Dont be put off my the out of City centre location, Hot-el-apartments Edinburgh suited us perfectly. The excellent bus route network ensured easy access to all the sites on a day ticket. There is a 24 hour Asda very close by which is great if you are utilising the self catering capability of the well equipped apartment. We were most impressed by the River View apartment. It had two bedrooms and bathrooms one ensuite. A large kitchen area was idea for a night in cooking. Wooden-like floors and two large leather-ette sofas and a flat screen tv added to the penthouse feel. Perhaps the only downside was having to take our rubbish out on our last day. A little dissapointing being a 4* Service apartment. We cannot recommend Hot-el-apartments Edinburgh Waterfront enough!

“Will visit again”

I make frequent trips to Edinburgh on business and the apartments are a nice change from the hotels. If staying in the centre of Edinburgh car parking is a real hassle and also very expensive. These apartments have a secure underground car park. The apartments themselves are well equipped, modern, comfortable and spacious and reasonably priced.
