“Well worth a visit”

Theres not really a lot to say about the apartments which hasn't already been said! The staff are friendly and helpful, with an encyclopedic knowledge of the local bus routes! The apartments themselves have pretty much everything you need kitchenwise, plus other useful things like an iron & board, plus a clothes airer if you want it! The only very slight downside we had was that being on the second floor everytime someone upstairs used the toilet you could here the water going down the pipes. Even that wasnt a major problem though as we were so tired from all the sight seeing! The hill that everyone seems to mention isnt that bad, a comfortable walk, especially after dinner in the city centre and has lots of art shops on it, alongwith a Threshers, if that takes your fancy.

“Home for a few days”

Spent Easter 08 here for four days. Friendly and efficient staff. Busy yet quiet. Place felt like home an apartment within two blocks. Far away enough from the city centre to be quiet and cheaper, but near enough for it to be central and efficient.

“Will definately be back.”

Great apartments, very clean, 10 mins walk to city centre, it is all uphill but there is a bus stop opposite, three separate buses come frequently.Locally, there is a petrol station with well stocked shop, a tesco metro and a few bars and retaurants. The apartment is a good size, bedroom with comfy bed, nice clean kitchen with all you need for a short stay, living room with cable tv(sky sports!!)a dining table and sofabed. Can't comlain about anything really, great for the price.

“Would stay again”

Canon Court is a great self-service apartment. It was preferable to a hotel. The only recommendation I would make is that they switch out the washer for a washer dryer combination. The apartment was clean, spacious and conveniently located to central Edinburgh. The staff was professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I would give the apartment, the location, and staff five out of five stars. I look forward to staying again.

“What A Great Find”

What a great find the Canon Court Apartments turned out to be. My goal had just been to find someplace nice close by The Royal Botanical Garden -- the 3 of us were flying up to Scotland mid-week for a couple of days to tour the gardens and see Holyrood Palace. The Expedia reviews I'd read about Canon Court were good, and the Gardens were just a short walk up the road. But not only did we get a clean, pleasant place to stay convenient to where we wanted to go, but a truly terrific "hotel" experience. The staff was outstanding. They were friendly and personable, and provided the kind of service you expect from a first-rate hotel (things like letting us leave our bags with them after check-out, and printing our e-tickets so we could skip the airport line for check-in) We all loved our 2 bedroom flat -- it was clean and comfortable and quiet. Since we were only there one night, we didn't cook but we appreciated having the refrigerator for soft drinks and the kitchen facilities for making tea to drink with our biscuits (yes, we trotted 'round the corner to Tesco to stock in supplies.) So much nicer than wandering down a hotel corridor in search of the vending machines. I highly recommend staying at 'serviced flats' while in Edinburgh, and I put in a resounding endorsement for Canon Court Apartments.
