Apart from creaky floorboards, this was easily the best set out place WE have stayed. On arrival (3 senior ladies, 1 senior male) the Get on duty bent over backwards to :- settle us (after a five norder trip), to show us the complete workings of everything, and, to make us feel that we were the "ones for whom he was waiting" Excellent!

“A great place to follow the trail of Inspector John Rebus”

Close to the new Scottish Parliament and just a Close away from the east end of the Royal Mile, this self-catering apartment hotel was excellent. It offered everything I needed on this weekend off during a 2 week business trip, including a washer/dryer, wireless High-Speed Internet hookup and a fairly modest exercise room. The unit had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms/showers, nice living room and dining section, and full and well-equipped kitchen. They even provided a liter of milk and OJ and breakfast items like cereals and bread, all complimentary! A good Oriental restaurant next door and convenience stores close by. The location was great for my intended long walks all over the city and beyond, including the Castle, Leith, Salisbury Crags and Arthur's Seat, and of course the many sites mentioned in Ian Rankin's "Inspector John Rebus" books, from Fleshmarket Close to the Oxford Bar.

This apartment was amazing. Two spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. Two beautiful bathrooms. A living area with a dining room and a compact modern kitchen, fully stocked with condiments and utinsels. I have been raving about it since I got home. It was perfect for 3 people.

The location is phenomenal and the apartment was very comfortable. Because we booked through Expedia, we were provided with a large basket of breakfast foods... more than enough for our week! The staff is incredible. They were priceless with advice and booking of daytrips from Edinburgh. When arriving from airport be sure to tell the driver that you want the Holyrood "Apartments." Our driver took us to the Holyrood Hotel, which is around the corner. Take a washcloth, they are not provided. Being here was like being at home... I highly recommend it!

If you are looking for a room with a view forget it. If you want good comfortable accomadation to see Edinburgh with good service and such helpful staff, a place that had thought of everything for you stay then this is your place. Every detail down to a umberella for wet weather, just take your tooth brush and a change of cloths. Good location for all attractions. within walking distance, hotel situated at the lower end of the royal mile through the ally way opposite the kirk. would go back every time.

“Top 10 in the world”

You should stay only at this place if you are in Edinburgh. We stayed in Sept and it had 2B and 2Bathrooms. Nice rooms with nice interiors. Next to Holyrood Palace and parliament and right on the Royal mile. 5-7 $ taxi to Waverly station.

This is a very well run apartment hotel with an excellent staff. Our apartment was perfect for us with two beautiful bathrooms and very comfortable beds, very adequate kitchen, very nice living room. The location is great as it is at the end of the Royal mile--close to the Holyrood Palace and new Parliament building. It is a very easy walk everywhere. We really appreciated the free availability of a computer in the reception for quick checks on flights , etc. There is wifi available for a minimum fee. Staff is helpful in recommending tours, restaurants and are helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend this apartment hotel and commend the Holyrood Aparthotel's wonderful staff.

The Holyrood Aparthotel has a great location and very friendly staff. It was really wonderful to have a full kitchen, especially since it is so expensive to eat out.
