A Lovely Short Stay.

Posted 08-Sep-2014
Pros: Everything.. Close to the town so whatever you want to do is just a short bus ride away.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: As i mentioned, the hotel is so close to town you are spoiled for choice.
The staff were more than helpful. The room was clean and fresh. I had The Most restful sleep. (i would have bought the bed if i could have afforded it!!) This wasn't the first time i've stayed at this hotel so obviously i feel comfortable here. The staff are very friendly. I will certainly come back here whenever i come home for visits.

Ideal hotel next to the zoo

Posted 01-Sep-2014
Pros: Comfortable beds with a choice of pillows
Cons: Room was extremely hot & stuffy. Air conditioning unit / heating not working correctly.
Location: Next to zoo. Plenty of buses travelling to and from city just outside hotel. Not much else to do in the vicinity.
After a long day at the zoo it was great to pop next door and experience instant comfort. Staff we're friendly and welcoming. Rooms comfortable and the size was more than adequate for 2 adults and 2 young children. The indoor pool was an added bonus, the spa pool and sauna proved great for our aching legs! We paid extra for the breakfast - hassle free and a large selection to choose from.

Decent Overnight Convenient to City and Airport

Posted 26-Aug-2014
Pros: Clean, convenient, comfortable, great view.
Cons: Noise travels from hall and neighboring rooms. Bed was a bit to soft for my liking. Pipes groaned like a dying whale in the bathroom.
Location: Next to the zoo. Conveniently located between the city center and the airport.
Needed a place to stay for a night to catch my flight next day. It was reasonably priced and clean with a surprisingly good view of the hills outside Edinburgh. Downsides: building not much to look at (like staying in an airport combined with a big box store), internet is feeble and wildly pricey unless you join their rewards club, breakfast is a bit steep for a buffet but the coffee is refreshingly strong.

Edinburgh, Scotland visit

Posted 09-Aug-2014
Pros: The location is the best part.
Cons: For a modern family of four, we need more access to WiFi then 2 devices.
Location: Location..its the best part...transportation is not as expensive.
The location, location is the best part of this trip. Short bus trip to down town, and a very small walk to the Zoo. The staff will help you, and the service was fast. My family of four had a great time. Don't forget your swimming trunks!!

Comfortable and great location

Quick bus ride of ten minutes to the city each day. Buses are very frequent as the hotel is right next to the zoo. Comfortable and clean.
