“All good!”

We used the hotel just for one night prior to attending a dog show at the (very) nearby Ingliston Showground. We specifically asked for a 'pet friendly' room and were given a ground floor room very close to a convenient exit to the car park. Room was very good, clean, comfortable abd well appointed. We went in the liesure centre for a swim, steam room and Sauna - also very good. Had a meal in the restuarant ... pleasant surroundings, prices reasonable (for a major hotel) and the food was also .... you guessed ... very good. B reakfast the following morning followed the trend - plenty of choice, well presented. My only minor niggle was that we had to pay for the car park - as a paying guest I might have expected to be abvle to park for free, but it wasn't too expensive, and was reassuring to be in a barrier contyrolled and CCTV'd car park.

“Great Hotel - Pity about unfriendly reception staff”

The check in receptionist (sorry forgot her name) was very unfriendly and unhelpful. The Internet desk in reception was not working and all she did was shrug her shoulders. The younger guy however helped us and resolved all our issues.

“Good airport hotel”

Our room was clean and well decorated. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was a decent size. The bath/shower could have been slightly more modern but was okay. We had the breakfast buffet included which was really good, although I wouldn't have paid the £20 per person for it. There was plenty of food to choose from and it kept us full until past lunch. It was a convenient location for the airport, but to get into town the bus was expensive.

“Good service”

We were there waiting for a plane the next morning early. So for us it was just a stop over. The services offered and the efforts made by staff to accomodate us were very good. A little pricy - but not out of line for the UK. We were very satisfied.

“Nice but out to make money on everything”

I thought the customer service and facilites were great. The fitness area is one of the best I have used in a long time. The only complaints that I had were that the bed needed to be replaced and even worse it that they charged 15 pounds to use the internet for 24 hours. The worse was that to print anything out you had to pay another 5 pounds for 15 mins and a 1 pound per page. That was something I thought should have been included in the price of the hotel. I would go back, however, I would not use the interet. I would find a small cafe somewhere in town for cheaper.

“Convenient to Airport & downtown”

We needed a quad room (hard to find in Scotland)for a reasonable price (also difficult to find in Scotland)that was close to the airport and convenient to downtown Edinburgh. The hotel offered a free shuttle from the airport and we were able to get our room at 9 a.m. following an all night flight. We took the bus that picked us up about a block away to downtown Edinburgh for shopping and sightseeing before catching our flight out the next day. Highly recommend this hotel.
