“Convenient Location”

Great location, walking distance from airport. Good value. Reasonably priced breakfast. Hotel is probably fifty years old and plumbing looks rather tired.

We used the hotel just for one night prior to attending a dog show at the (very) nearby Ingliston Showground. We specifically asked for a 'pet friendly' room and were given a ground floor room very close to a convenient exit to the car park. Room was very good, clean, comfortable abd well appointed. We went in the liesure centre for a swim, steam room and Sauna - also very good. Had a meal in the restuarant ... pleasant surroundings, prices reasonable (for a major hotel) and the food was also .... you guessed ... very good. B reakfast the following morning followed the trend - plenty of choice, well presented. My only minor niggle was that we had to pay for the car park - as a paying guest I might have expected to be abvle to park for free, but it wasn't too expensive, and was reassuring to be in a barrier contyrolled and CCTV'd car park.

“Hilton Edinburgh Airport”

This is my 2nd stay here. Very convenient for the airport - 5 minutes walk away (but still a bit far with a couple of bags). Friendly service, great breakfasts, convenient for the city too, if you use the 100 express bus from the terminal into the city centre (30 minutes & GBP 6 return for adults).

The convenience to the airport is why we chose the Hilton. The room was just adequate, and the service in the restaurant was extremely slow. Not up to Hilton's usual standards.

“It's About Convenience”

Had an early morning flight to U.S. and needed a hotel close to EDI. Nothing fancy, and a liitle pricey, but it served the purpose. Our double room had everything we needed, just a liittle stark. Hotel food and bar was OK. Thankful for the complimentary shuttle to airport at 4:30 AM.

“convenient airport hotel”

I had an early flight out and checked in the night before. I was able to return my rental car and spent the night at the hotel. The hotel had a very nice, large indoor pool to unwind before my flight. The buffet breakfast was typical hotel fare, but quite good. While the hotel is 9 miles from downtown Edinburgh, it was convenient to the airport (short walk or courtesy van) and surrounding areas.

“Stay near Edinburgh Airport”

i did not hear a single plane during our stay. You can walk to/from the Airport, but it is a bit convoluted. Our shuttle bus did not arrive as scheduled, as it was delayed by a malfunction of the barrier. However we got to the airport before the check-in opened. The web page did not mention the shuttle service, or the time breakfast would be served. i noticed some people having breakfast earlier than the stated opening time of 7 am, but we were supposed to be at the Airport by 6.10 am.

“Delightful Stay”

We were thrilled with our stay in this hotel. There was a shuttle waiting for us at the airport and the driver couldn't be more helpful. The staff were friendly, efficient and the service excellent. We loved the room, very comfortable and had a wonderful nights sleep. The bus for the city stops outside the hotel and everything was very streamlined. The only thing was we couldn't just go out and pick up some food for dinner or go to a restaurant as the city was 30 mins away so we tended to eat at the hotel which was a little expensive but the food was lovely.
