“great hosts”
Great hosts made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. A little away from the city centre, but working out the bus trip routes is easy
“Thank you for a lovely stay at Cherry Tree villa”
We stayed at the Cherry Tree villa for a short break in Edinburgh in February. The B and B is very close to the centre of town (walking distance), but as I had a broken leg we used the local bus service to get in and out of the centre. The bus runs from literally the end of the road, was very frequent and took about 10 minutes max into town. We were greeted at cherry tree by the very friendly and helpful Peter, who was happy to give us ideas of where to visit and eat out during our short stay. The breakfast in the morning was lovely- full English plus cereals/ toast/ fruit etc. Our room was lovely and clean, as was our bathroom. We had opted for a private bathroom, which was just across the hall from the bedroom. We would stay at Cherry tree again and would recommend it for a short break, especially given the very reasonable price. Edinburgh was a lovely city to visit with lots to see and do.

The Cherrytree Guest House is a lovely place, from my window I could even enjoy a view on Arthur's Seat. It's quiet, clean and tidy, and everyone's looked after very well.

Had a nice stay stay at this B&B , comfortable cozy and value for money .
“very enjoyable visit”
i thought the bed was a bit tight to get into as of the roof slant in the way slightly , but overall very nice owner and the lovely continental/english breakfast was very good for the value of money well recommended for visiting the city for student or single person staying their for a couple of nights.
“Not for tall people”
i booked the smallest room not knowing that it really was in the attic and most of the room i could not even stand up because it really was in the eves of the roof! Being 6 feet tall I actually had to crawl to the bed so nopt to hit my head. in addition to being freezing cold on top of that.
