"Really impressive hotel"
Stayed one night but wished it was longer. It was easy to find on the onsite parking was one of the main reasons for booking it. It was a 40 min walk into the centre with plenty of places to eat and drink along the way. The lady on reception was extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and looked newly decorated, if a little on the small side, but it was only for 1 night so not an issue. I think any longer than 2 nights would have been different. We ate in the restraunt and really enjoyed the food. We would definatly stay again.

"Convenient, but overpriced"
We booked into this hotel for the last night of our vacation in Scotland. We returned our rental car at the airport, walked to the hotel, checked in, freshened up, took the Tram into Edinburgh for dinner (there is also a bus), returned on the Tram, and then took the free shuttle to the airport for our early morning flight (you could also easily walk to the airport from the hotel, but it was raining when we left). All in all, very convenient. A couple of minor qualms: 1) Neither the television nor the phones worked in our room. The hotel sent a staff person right away who was able to get the television working. We didn't really need the phones, so that went on the list for the maintenance crew. 2) Asked at two different times, front desk staff gave conflicting information about the cost of taking the Tram vs. the bus into Edinburgh. One staff member indicated that the Tram was significantly cheaper than the bus, which was not actually the case. One major qualm: The price. For us it was worth it to pay for proximity to the airport car return, the airport itself, and the Tram into Edinburgh. But one can certainly find better hotels at a better price in the area.

"Excellent location for an event at Dynamic Earth"
We were delighted to find the hotel was so close to Dynamic Earth as well as Holyrood, the Royal Mile and the Scottish Parliament. The room was quiet, comfortable and not too warm. The bathroom was clean and brightly decorated. Perhaps a brighter light and magnified mirror would make it easier for puting on ones make-up. We enjoyed a hearty, freshly cooked Scottish breakfast. We will be back.

lovely staff room could've been a bit bigger but I understand given the part of the world we are. Internet is almost a commodity that is given and free everywhere in the world now. so I was mildly dispointed when I found out it was not free. that is one thing folks will find the most annoying about staying there. other than that everything was great.

"Almost but not quiet"
This was meant to be a lavish treat for my wife and i but it didn't live up the our expectations having stayed in other Raddisson hotels. The staff were helpful the breakfast was good itf a little busy and crammed in, but what let the hotel down is the inside especially the rooms looks tired and in need of a refresh.
