“A great location in a great city”

The Apex City hotel in edinburgh's Grassmarket is a fantastic place to be, whether for business or pleasure. From the minute you are greeted in reception (and they DO greet you) until you go to sleep in a most comfortable bed - if there is anything the staff can do for you they eill - and they do it with a smile! What a refreshing change. Apex City should be a first call if you're thinking of going to Edinburgh

“Great Location - Nice Bath”

The hotel's location on Grassmarket is ideal for both sightseeing and nightlife. The concierge was also very helpful. Unlike the typical European hotel bath, the bath in our room was comparable to quality hotels in America.

“Great hotel, excellent location”

We really loved the hotel. The staff are sincerely helpful and friendly, which shows as soon as you arrive. The hotel restaurant is a good choice if you arrive late (as we did), and there are many pubs in the nearby as well. The Edinburgh castle is 4 minutes away from the hotel, which makes it a great place to start a walk. The area is undergoing a majour repair though (they are laying an underground, if I am not wrong), but this did not disturb us at all. We will go back when in EDI again.

“Best loction in Edinburgh”

The hotel was right across the street from restaurants, shops, etc. There was a great view to the castle which was a short walk away. It was also in walking distance to the New City (versus the Old city where the castle is). The hotel was luxurious, and the bedding was the best of any place we stayed in Scotland.

“Very Nice hotel”

The hotel was great. close to everything. Rooms might be smaller then in US but had everything we needed. No safe in room but front desk locked valuables in safe for us. Room was as nice as or better then our friends hotels which were twice as expensive. garden view isn't much of a view but we didn't notice as we spent most of the time walking the royal mile.

“Highly recommended”

Excellent hotel. Very convenient for visits to most of Edinburgh`s main attractions. Breakfast was rather expensive at eleven pounds but it was of an excellent standard. Staff very helpful and friendly.

“Could not have asked for more”

The hotel was modern, beautifully kept and the staff were very attentive. I wish we'd booked for breakfast now as it looked fab and we have a coffee and a pudding one day which was amazing! Cannot wait to get back there!

We enjoyed the location of our hotel very much.Great location. We walked to everything we wanted. The price was also reasonable. The staff were very nice and offered help when needed. the small duck novelty was a clever idea(sitting on bath tray in shower /bath area . Our friends suggested this Apex City Hotel to us. We were pleased.
