Edinburg, McAllen Hotels

Edinburg is home to the University of Texas-Pan American; the Museum of South Texas History; and the Edinburg Roadrunners, an independent baseball team in the United Baseball League. El Sal Del Rey is a salt lake located 22 miles (35 km) north of Edinburg.
