It was like staying in a Agatha Christie movie. Lovely, Quaint and Clean. The staff were polite and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and service was top class. The only downside was the dated carpets. Also no air-conditioning in the rooms. I would definitely recommend it.
Having never been to Eastbourne before this trip turned into a very pleasant surprise. Good value hotel with a very nice room with a balcony to sit on overlooking the sea and beach. Staff were very helpful if a little over worked. Room was clean and the mezzanine where we had breakfast had a lovely view of the sea. Hotel was a little tierd in places and going through some refurbishment, however would still happily stay there again

Stayed just one night. Vincent at reception was excellent. I was unable to book the room on the Best Western website so booked via Expedia and could only book a twin-bedded room although I really wanted a double room. When I explained this to Vincent, he added my Best Western membership to the booking. He also changed our booking to a sea-view, double room at no extra charge and allowed us to pre-book our breakfast for just £5 each as breakfast was not included as part of the original booking. The only fault was that I had no Wi-Fi reception in our room.
OK for a one night stay. limited parking if you arrive at lunch time as we did. Room small but reasonably comfortable. Wifi worked fine. Nice looking lawn and pool deck. Bar area disappointing. Looks like target market is coach torus and retired folk.
Stopped here overnight while passing through. My single room was inexpensive, and though quite basic it had a sea view and a clean and functional en suite. Cooked breakfast was tasty. Be warned, the hotel has no car park and parking in this area was very difficult the weekend I stayed. However if you want accommodation on the sea front at a low-ish cost this is OK.

We were given a room with a beautiful sea view, which was amazing. We were actually staying in Eastbourne to go to the Congress Theatre which was even closer than we could have hoped so that was great too! The room was nice, breakfast good, just everything could have done with a lick of paint. But then I suppose if it had gave been perfectly decorated it would have been a lot more expensive because you really couldn't fault the location!
