“Only hotel in town”

Initially were put in room that had airconditioning that didn't work. We were upgraded and that was great. Hotel is clean and staff is responsive but it seemed that only one person to handle everything with no resources for maintenance is asking a lot. Ice machine was broken and he could not do anything about it for the weekend. He also couldn't leave to get some and wasn't authorized to reimburse anyone for getting the ice. Didn't seem fair that he had to put up with all the complaints regarding that and I would think the owner would have responded. Hotel now allows dogs which is fine but they don't supply bags to pick up the poo. There was a huge pile right outside back door. Wish pet owners would be more considerate about cleaning up--they give the rest of us dog owners a bad name. All in all the stay was good and location was convenient for our visit.

Area recommendations
Town is pretty small so all anyone has to do is go to the square. Lots of recreation areas around there so nobody should lack for anything to do.

“Would go back in a heartbeat.”

Our stay was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The amenities were abundant and efficient. Great pool and breakfast. We enjoyed the quiet of the area. For us it was perfect.

Area recommendations
Lake Geneva is about a half hour away. Milwaukee is a half hour away.

“Good place to sleep”

The room was clean but was not a place i would choose if you were trying to get away for a day or two. Not comfortable to relax. Hotel and rooms are a bit dated, but the staff was very friendly. Pool needed a bit of work, you could see dirt in the bottom, so we didn't swim either. Close to movies and shopping, a definate plus.

clean, comfortable, quiet and very easy location to find. Staff was very nice. breakfast was good
