“Fine”
Fine if you can't find something else. Bath was dirty. Bed was lumpy. Carpets need to be replaced throughout.
“Brighton 1-nighter”
I stayed in Brighton for one night to see a concert in the area. For the money paid, I got a decent room. The building is really old, the furniture looked pretty worn an outdated. However, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was updated. The room was clean. Not much more to ask for. The room is a place to sleep and keep your stuff. Its only a 10 minute walk to/from the train station. The staff was pretty friendly. Its in a good location, and the beach is right across the street.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent with good choice continental style & cooked breakfast-tho crusty rolls would be nice. Beds- clean & comfortable,New bathroom The hotel is in need of mass refurbishment. A coat or 2 of paint on the stairs & corridors would create a better impression. Found these areas depressing.Would stay again
“Good location - friendly, helpfull staff.”
For a last minute find and reasonable rates, this hotel was adequate for a busy weekend stay. Walking distance to most popular areas. Generally very clean. Carpet and furniture in rooms a little worn but all the necessities were there.
“If we go back to Brighton, we are staying here!”
What a little gem in the heart of Brighton. Our room had massive bay windows and a long balcony overlooking Regency Square and the sea. The room was massive and very comfortable. Admittadly like many smaller hotels in Brighton the Beach Hotel is a little rundown and could do with a lick of paint in places but if anything this gave the place a certain charm! The service, presentation and cleanliness was 10 out of 10 so we couldn't ask for more. We will certainly stay here again if when we go back to Brighton!

Hotel charmant mais il ne faut pas faire attention aux détails qui laissent à désirer. Le personnel ne déborde pas de politesse, d'energie et d'envie de faire plaisir. Le petit déjeuner est sommaire mais l'hotel est idéalement situé à 5 min à pied du centre ville et a vu sur la mer.

Idéalement situé, à 2 pas de la plage et des Lanes. Vieux bâtiment tradition anglaise (1882), rafraîchi et sans prétention. Petit déjeuner très complet, saucisses/beans excellents!! Juste 2 bémols : - sur les chaines télés, mais partons-nous e vacances pour regarder la télé? - le parking (public) est payant Nous y retournerions sûrement

Wir waren als Paar für 4 Nächte im "The Beach Hotel" (nicht "The Brighton Beach Hotel"!!! Beim Durchlesen von Bewertungen vor der Reise wurde ich das Gefühl nicht los, dass man die beiden Hotels gern mal verwechselt). Waren beide sehr zufrieden. Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer (Nr. 15) hat unsere Erwartungen an 2* übertroffen. Es war recht sauber & komfortabel. Jeden Tag gab es frische Handtücher, die auch wirklich sauber waren. Laken waren auch sauber. Die Tagesdecke war schon etwas mitgenommen, aber die nimmt man ja auch nicht zum Schlafen. Seife, Shampoo&Duschgel lagen mit den Handtüchern für uns bereit. Bad mit Badewanne. Fernseher mit englischen Sendern. Der Fön befindet sich in der Schublade eines größeren Tisches. Es gibt die Möglichkeit Tee&löslichen Kaffee zuzubereiten. Schön großes&hohes Fenster (Blick auf Rasenanlage&Meer), vor dem man es sich in den Sesseln bequem machen konnte. Lichtundurchlässiger Vorhang war schnell&einfach vorzuziehen. Leider scheint das Hotel etwas hellhörig zu sein (Leute im Flur&schließende Türen waren deutlich hörbar), was uns jedoch nicht wirklich gestört hat. Der Frühstücksraum ist schön eingerichtet und das Frühstück selber hat uns gut gefallen. Es gab verschiedene Säfte, Kaffee, baked beans, Speck, sausages, Rührei, eingelegtes Obst und frische Bananen, Müsli & versch. Sorten Kellogs, Joghurt & Toast (dazu Butter&Marmelade).Toast wurde hinter der Theke getoasted, nachdem man versch. Sorten angeboten bekam. Nettes Hotel!
