“central position in the town, but old hottel style.”

Looks like an old hotel with very old doors and windows. Bath's lights are poor. Good feature is the free WIFI. Is nnear the downtown of Brighton, so is very good to walk till the center and restaurants are all around.

“good location”

Good location on the beachfront. Short walk to most of Brightons attractions. Service was friendly and helpfull when required.

“Old and showing it.”

At first glance everything looks as expected, nicely decorated reception/bar / breakfast room area. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Room was less than expected though, decor & furnishings suffering from age requiring a major facelift. However it served our purpose, spent very little time there.

“Great Location”

The location was excellent. Train station was within easy walking distance as well as a variety of resturants, shopping and attactions. My room was bright and clean and had everything I needed while visiting friends in Brighton. The staff was helpful and efficient. I'll return for my next visit.

“Not bad at all for the price!”

You will find this room reasonable - with a great location and friendly staff. It was clean and comfortable but my room was a bit cramped.

“Bouycat bad hotels”

“Clean, simple but not modern.”

No pool (closed), no lift (broken), no WiFi in rooms on 5th floor (no repeaters) - and no prior warning - so not on really. Didn't eat there in the restaurant so can't comment on the restaurant. Nice friendly staff though.

“Overpriced - needs updating”

Carpet was significantly stained in the room, shower room was basic, room was very small, windows rattled in the wind and let the heat out, lift wasn't working properly (wouldn't go to our floor), lift was slow to arrive on floors that it did serve, common areas (hall and stairs) were tired and run down, car parking arrangements were awkward due to limited available spaces and 'first come, first served' booking system. Location was excellent (seafront).
