“Excellent business hotel”
Friendly, welcoming staff and well appointed clean rooms. I also ate at the restaurant the night before and the food and drink was satisfactory. On the downside the hotel isn't particulary near anything in Brighton (except the railway station) so a bit of travel or walking to get to any other restaurants, and the wifi is chargeable. Overall an excellent business hotel.
“Nice hotel...”
Reasonable hotel, although it was quite expensive for what t was
“Good Hotel - Take your Booking Confirmation.”
We stayed at the hotel for one night. Staying in a Superior Room - we checked in with no issues at 12pm. We stayed on the Station side, on the 1st Floor, but didn't have any noticeable noise issues from the trains. Hotel room is functional, with everything you need. It is a 15-20 minutes walk to the sea front, through the station, but a fraction of the cost of Hotels on the sea front. Only noise really from the party goers coming home, but thats not really down to the hotel. Only issue we had was the Booking stated it included Breakfast. When we went down for Breakfast they had no record of us, and at that stage informed us we would have to pay. We presented the Expedia booking and they quickly honoured it and we did not pay. However, would recommend anyone who does book takes the confirmation as it might be needed. Four groups had the same issue in the time we had breakfast. However, this would not stop us using the hotel again - it is good for the Money.
“Totally fit for purpose”
We needed somewhere convinient and clean to stay for a hen; it could have been cheaper but breakfast was included (unexpectedly) and unlike a lot of hotels and B&B's in Brighton, Jury's Inn doesn't have a 2 or 3 night minimum stay policy. It is overpriced, of that there's no doubt, but I was happy to pay the money in the hope of a clean room, which is what we got. There was also a single bed as well as the small double, so you have had three in the room, and the bathroom was big with a good shower.
“"Would stay again"”
We stayed 1 night (Royal Wedding day), arriving midday. The reception staff were friendly and offered a choice in rooms, which included interconnecting rooms; perfect for me and my sister with our kids. Rooms ready we went straight there. The rooms looked clean and comfortable. We left our bags after requesting extra towels for the room (which was provided) and headed straight to Brighton beach which is a good 20 minute walk from Jurys Inn. The hotel is convenient for Brighton station, we parked our car there , but if you intend to spend all your time near the beachfront, prepare for lots of walking! Breakfast was ok nothing special, usual offering of cereals, fruit, egg, bacon etc. We requested warm milk for the kids cereal and I asked for poached eggs, this was no trouble for staff who attended to it straight away. I would stay again as it was a good standard 3* hotel.
“Over priced resturant, food served cold”
The room was clean but the window was not sealed properly and there was subsequently a whistling sound all night. the restaurant was rushed, they were closing early but only told us after we has ordered our main meal. the food was very expensive and served cold, twice.
“Great hotel for a short bread”
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, they did a great deal for b&b over easter so we decided to go back. It is a nice clean modern hotel, rooms are spacious and the buffet breakfast was really good. It is right next to the railway station about a 15min walk down hill to the seafront. Our only complaint was that the hotel doesn't have its own car park, there is a car park opposite the main entrance but it's quite expensive and a bit of a pain having to phone and use the automated system to pay for parking when we really just wanted to get out in the sunshine down to the seafront! It would be good if the hotel could make some arrangement with the car park so they add it to your bill maybe and you pay when you check out as you can only pay 1 night at a time on the automated system so have to remember to keep topping up the time left on the parking! Will stay here again though next time we are back in Brighton.
“Great weekend with The Girls”
Myself and four friends stayed here for 2 nights. Its a great location situated near the Station, and even though its close you cant hear much noise at all. I would say its approx 15 min walk to the sea and the main clubs. if ur in heels, id recommend getting taxis from A to B. The rooms we great for what we needed, they were very clean and on each day the cleaners gave us new towels and more tea and coffee. At check-in the staff were helpful and gave us great recommendations of where we should visit during our stay. Would definately stay there again.
“Car park rip off”
The hotel was great, they use the Rail station car park which is opposite and perfect other than the price and the fact you buy a day ticket that expires at 4 am and then have to pay from then until checkout! Shocking after a long day the last thing that I wanted to do was hunt around for a cheap alternative.
“Jury's Inn - Brighton”
We had a great time at Jury's Inn. Right opposite the train station so very easy to get to. The rooms were clean and staff were friendly. However we were given a double room when we asked for a twin. We stayed there for 4 nights and one day they did not make up the room just cleaned and stocked the bathroom; and on the other they did not provide us with enough towels. Took ages to get more. Generally though it was a pleasant stay and close to The Lanes.
