Will be going back ! Great boutique hotel

Posted 13-Sep-2014
Pros: Everything
Location: clean, bright and secure right outside in the underground car park - really handy for Una.
We loved this hotel. Really friendly staff, great bar, all the rooms have a different vibe (we stayed in 'N' but were able to look around 4) , the huge bathtub was a treat, breakfast perfectly cooked - not sure we would change a thing. Going to book the room 'D' next time :-)

Adequate hotel, decent location

Pros: Excellent cocktail menu. Try the "brass monkey"!
Cons: Decor.
Location: Close to the beach, and there is a large/varied selection of restaurants on Little Preston Street which is just 2 streets west. Sushi Garden is great.
This is a decent hotel. The location is not optimal, but not bad either... Very close to the beach and walkable to the pier in 10-15 minutes. The rooms are clean, though small. It was listed as four stars and priced as such, but that might be a little bit of a stretch... There were much, much cheaper hotels in the same area, so the price is questionable. But with that said, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The cocktail bar had a fantastic cocktail menu with reasonable prices (£8 each); the (free) breakfast was really good and substantial. There was also free wifi, and they had two connections in case one was slow. For all of these reasons, although you might get a better deal elsewhere, you can't really go wrong by booking with these guys. I approve!

Great hotel in a great location. Really enjoyed our stay, they were very accommodating given that we turned up several hours before check in. Breakfast was good and the room itself was great. One of our best stays in Brighton

Pros: The Staff. The location
this, A is a B&B, but not in your normal sense. The rooms are unusual, some times quirky, but overall luxurious. Well situated, close to the sea front with plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. The staff are what sells this place, sadly almost all are outwith this country, We where entertained by an experienced barman fron NZ who gave us a dissertation on Tequilla, an S, African and also a Checkui (sp). All motivated to please in the most impressive way. Our room as fine, however the idea of a TV in the bathroom, didnt quiet work out! Breakfast was fine, service good, no better than one could expect. Only downside is the carparking, nearby underground secure parking but £20 a day (£25) in the summer so add £40 Or £50 to your bill for a 2 night stay. Unless U come by bike.

Lovely boutique feel, fantastic staff.

We only stayed for one night but had a lovely time! The staff were so lovely and friendly. Our room (Lossie) was beautifully done and smelt amazing! The building itself is quirky with great features, we enjoyed using the old fashioned style lift! We stayed during winter with stormy weather in Brighton. It was lovely to shelter in their cosy bar and enjoy a steaming glass of homemade mulled cider (and a cute reindeer biscuit!). Unfortunately we didn't have the breakfast, as we had other plans, but they offer a 'breakfast in bed' service for our room so we ordered coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. We'd most definitely recommend staying! We're looking forward to going back and trying a different room... And the breakfast!
