Nice welcome, good room with perfect view of pier, no real traffic or city noise and plenty of tea and coffee and milk! Happily stay again!

Room with sea view very good. Limited breakfast choice, but good price(pity not included. Guests might like to know the bar entertainment is drag queens.

A lovely hotel...very clean, bright and airy room. Friendly staff and a great location. The hotel is attached to a Bar and music does go on til the early hours but this can only be expected in the centre of Brighton! Would def stay here again

Great. If I go back to Brighton I will stay there again. Quiet but within a short walking distance to restaurants, pubs etc. And right by the sea

The hotel is situated perfectly, close to the lanes. Staff were very friendly. The bed was so comfortable! Very clean and tidy. It is noisy at night, as you are above a very lively bar, but it didn’t bother us too much.

Disappointing
Way too noisy, and very out dated pictures used to advertise it. Wouldnt saty again and wouldnt recommend. On the plus side though, the staff were great and it was clean

Great location to visit the pier. Parking is difficult everywhere in this area. Hotel is showing it's age. Bar was lively with alternative entertainment. Breakfast was terrible, don't waste your time with it.

Great Value & Fun.
Location could not be better, sea front opposite The Pier only a few minuets walk from The Lanes and Royal Pavilion. Pre paid parking at £8/day is terrific value for Brighton. Friendly, fun staff and sea front room spotlessly clean. Saturday afternoon cabaret was a hoot!

Adequate for our needs.
The hotel met our needs attending an evening wedding. More cleaning attention needed in bathroom, didn’t say anything as not on 4 in a bed, sorted myself as needed to get ready. Check in chap was very friendly and informative. Ear plugs a very good shout.

Very noisy. Booked a room supposedly away from the very noisy bar area but were given one right on top of it. Room was hot and stuffy but noise meant we couldn't open the window. No aircon so we tried using the fan left in the wardrobe but it was filthy and filled the room with clumps of dust! Bathroom also dirty. The guy on the front desk did his best but had no other rooms. This is not a hotel for sleeping in! Really poor.

Amsterdam Hotel
Staying at the Amsterdam hotel was lovely. the check-in at the reception was great and the gentleman processing our reservation was very professional and pleasant, we also received an upgrade in our room which very nice, clean and spacious and rather quiet considering where the room was located on the third floor. but my overall stay at the Amsterdam was great and i would certainly stay there again.

The hotel was fine, a little bit of loud music at night but this what you expect at The Amsterdam Hotel, due to it location. My room was fine and clean, loved the shower and thanks to the receptions staff (lady) for waiving my overbooked fee

The Amsterdam Hotel
Very quick and convenient check in, allowed us to check in early and gave us a key card, even before the room was ready so we didn’t have to come back during the day. Accommodating and very friendly staff, room was clean, tidy and had a lovely balcony looking over the sea. Good stay overall.

Loud music until 3am hotel connected to a bar
Hotel room right above/connected to a bar and the loud music with banging bass stayed on non stop until 3am. This should not even be advised as it’s illegal to situation a room and ask for your first for pay this for a night as we barely slept.

One of the worst I’ve stayed at…
Yikes… very very noisy, decrepit, disorganised, no breakfast, no clean towels, no replenished coffee/milk sachets, no emptying bin, no cleaned glasses, made bed was not well made (and only once in 3 days) not worth £20.

Nice hotel lovely room's the only bad part is they say if you arrive early you may leave your luggage at the reception but it is literally in the reception near the main entrance not very secure.

One look was enough to head straight back home.
We took one look at our room and decided that a 3 hour journey back home in the middle of the night was preferable. It felt like a ‘rent a room by the hour’ motel. Just being in the room made us want to have a shower.
