"Lovely people. Excellent breakfast. Good location"
Great brekkie. Lots of choices of fresh healthy food. Cater for gluten and dairy free. Very kindly let me check in on arrival just before midday as the room was ready. Had made a gorgeous cake for people to help themselves. Lots of thoughtful touches. Nothing a problem. Great customer service and attitude.
A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a nice little hotel in Eastbourne. The staff were knowledgable aswell as welcoming. The room lovely and big with a great view of the sea, they even got my breakfast order 100% spot on with early morning room service. Would definatly recommend!! Great job guys :-)
This is what's expected of a five star hotel. Nothing went wrong; nothing caused concern and we just relaxed. The food was excellent, the concierge team had a good sense of humour and the waiting team were attentive. One of the few hotels we would not hesitate to recommend and return to.
The hotel was very nice and conveniently located in the town so that guests can walk to all the towns attractions. The room was small but comfortable and well equipped and the staff were very helpful. The hotel has a large free parking area at the back which is a plus in a town that has few places to park.

"Lovely little hotel, quaint and full of character."
Seafront hotel with great charm and atmosphere. Staff are helpful and obliging which made the experience for us. A little quiet for this time of year but that's a seasonal town I guess. Will be returning later this year.
This hotel is old and full of character and a fantastic place to stay. It faces the ocean, directly across from the old pier and within sight of the new Brighton Pier. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Our room, the terrace, had a balcony, four poster bed, amazing bathroom and was just the most gorgeous hotel room I've ever stayed in. So comfortable and easily accessibly to everything we wanted to do in Brighton via walking. The complimentary breakfast the following morning was great!

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Modern rooms and nice facilities. The family room is nice as there are 2 seperate rooms, warm and comfortable. Very good location, as your away from the busy end but not too far that you can't walk or go in the other direction to the adventure parks etc.,

I always wanted to experence a stay at the Grand and when the opportunity came in I took it and took the kids too they loved it the room was great slightly warm the restaurant and the bar very friendly staff overall great experience will come back soon
We booked well in advance for pride weekend and it was great value considering location and the fact it was over pride. It was a bit different than we were expecting with the apartment split in to an upstairs and downstairs - but they made a really good effort at utilising the space they had. The spiral stairs were not ideal - a very small space making it difficult if you are a bit heavier set and not ideal for carrying things up and down. Also a bit of a challenge if intoxicated!! Otherwise really well done and suited our needs very well!
It was a self check in/out system which went without a hitch for us. Not sure how good that would be if there was some kind of problem - although a contact number was provided.
Having read some of the negative reviews i was apprehensive about my visit. I needn't have worried - everything about the hotel was good. The room was great; bright, clean and airy & the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was good - best hotel cooked egg!! I had vegetarian breakfast so don't know about bacon or sausage! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the position of hotel is great. Ok, some of the carpet is a bit worn and the bar area could be better, but it wasn't needed as there is so much around and it is a budget hotel. I would certainly stay there again and highly recommend it.
