“SENIOR BOWLER”

ROOM WAS CLEAN AND CONFORTABLE. MEX. BAR WAS FUN. BAR MANAGER VERY FRIENDLY. WOULD STAY AGAIN. BREAKFAST COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH BETTER.

“Good for the price”

Pretty nice little spot for the price. The bathroom could've used a little work, but the room was big and comfortable.

“Great Pool”

This hotel is easy to find; just minutes from the I-80. Check in was quick and easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Continental breakfast (juice, coffee, tea, hot and cold cereal, bread, muffins, fruit) is included. We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed the huge heated indoor pool every day. The weather in the evenings was cool and raining but our room was only steps away from the pool so it was very convenient to go and relax in the warm water.

“Not too bad....”

If you want to save some money this place works. Room wasnt dirty but bathroom needed updates. There was alittle smell to the room. The biggest complaint was the lounge had a DJ playing very loud music which we could hear in our room until about 130am on Friday night. The air conditioner didnt work real well either. So if you want a 70.00 room this is the place.

“not the best motel.”

The bed and bath were clean. The carpets were not clean. It was nice to have a free breakfast but, it was not the best breakfast. The service was good. We were grateful for a free computer and internet but were not able to axcess all of our accounts.

“Some kind of experience”

Usually I stay in private villas but decided on this motel because the reviews where good and I was staying just 2 days to take the grand kids 2 came back beach. My wife inspected the room for bed bugs she like totally freaked about those things, it passed her inspection but she is still freaking, The motel wasn't all that but you get what you pay for. The room was musky smelling and carpet was dirty. The only good thing about it was the indoor swimming pool for the grand kids they had loads of fun and loved it so my wife was happy. If we ever had to stay in a cheap motel again we would definitely stay there again. They had continental breakfast and hot coffee 24 hrs in the lobby... The motel is really shabby looking but nice and quite. Another plus was that the laundry room was open 24hrs so we where able to wash the chlorine from the pool and dry each night. It cost 4.00 dollars for soap, wash, and dry not bad at all. Oh and my wife also made a comment that one of the staff members kept following her around every where which kinda annoyed her. Oh and they don't sweep around the property outside just at the check in lobby.. But again we went for the grand kids and they had loads of fun 2 year old girl and 4 year old boy so in the end that's all that really matters oh and so far their are no sighn of bed bugs... LOL my wife has the traveling back with the clothes out in front of the door says she will be washing and drying them at at least 180 degrees before putting it up.

“Not Impressed”

Garbage in the hallway. Cleaning people came, late in day. Air condition took a full day to get the room cool. Just wasn't comfortable with the place.

“Days Inn East Stroudsburg, PA”

The young man at the front desk checked us in quickly and efficiently. Our room was clean, comfortable and in good condition. We had dinner at the Blue Tequila Mexican Restaurant adjoining the hotel. The food was excellent. After dinner, we had a swim in the indoor heated pool, which was nice and relaxing. Overall, an excellent stay. I would definitely stay here again the next time we come to the Poconos for an overnight stay.
