“hotel smelled like smoke”

We had a non-smoking room, but as soon as you walked in to the building it smelled of smoke. Hallways smelled, room smelled. Not satisfied at all! Would not go back.

“Great place to stay and eat”

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and was equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave and flat screen TV. The beds were comfortable. Even though we were on the first floor not far from the in-hotel restaurant/bar, it was quiet. Our dinner was excellent. The manager visited our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Our server was polite and knowledgeable. We liked the continental breakfast, too. The items offered were better than the usual breakfast fare at other hotels. Plus there was a waitress who brought coffee and cleared the tables. And again, the manager was present. Overall, it was a wonderful visit. The only negative was when I tried to call to make the reservation myself and was put off twice because the receptionists were helping clients who were at the desk. Maybe they need more personnel to handle the phones.

“Excellent value in East Stroudsburg”

Every staff member was courteous and helpful. The on-site restaurant was quite good. Complimentary breakfast was very satisfactory and a terrific value. We'll almost certainly return later this year when we're in that part of the country.

Did not have time to explore the city.

If you've had a long drive and don't feel like going out for a meal, the hotel has a restaurant and bar that are really very satisfactory.

Little Angels Cafe is the best breakfast homemade you can get. For dinner Smugglers Cove has the BEST steak and seafood!!!!

“Close to University”

Overall hotel was fine. Conveniently located to ESU, right off highway. Rooms clean but in need for updating. Beds mushy, and definately bring along your own pillow. Didn't eat there based on other reviews.

“Think Twice”

The hotel is fine. It is off rt 80 so its convinent and easy to locate. However, they had no hot water if everyone is trying to take a shower. As well as there was a horrible dump smell when the cleaning ladies cleaned the room. It smelled worse after then before they cleaned. It was cheap. You pay what you get for.
