My new husband and I really loved the beachfront location. It was so nice to access the beach so easily. The prices for the beds and umbrellas near the water were excessive in my opinion, but the hotel offered nice beach towels we used to lay in the sand. The staff was so kind to us which isn't always the case with Anglo-phones in France. We traveled from the Perpignan train station to the hotel, which was a very expensive cab fare. We took the 1EURO bus back but it was a 20 minute walk to the bus stop, plus a 1 hour trip to the train station. Unless you take a car, the location isn't central to public transportation. The poolside restaurant offered a traditional French continental breakfast, and delicious 2 or 3 course meals for lunch and dinner. One more note on location, we visited slightly after holiday season, and most of the the town was closed (shops, restaurants, markets) so we felt a little trapped at the hotel. The demographic of the hotel guests was 55+ retirees which we loved, but would definitely turnoff younger people.
