Comfortable and affordable central hotel

Posted 22-Aug-2014
Pros: Location. Value.
Cons: D├ęcor a little basic but not expecting fancy at this price.
Location: Lots of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Would make a good base if not travelling by car as parking is scarce and expensive
Stayed for a night on our way through Perpignan in a family sized room which was well presented and clean. Helpful hotel staff. Low fuss check in and out. Affordable rate for four. This is not a fancy boutique hotel, just down to earth and convenient.

Rugby Weekend

Posted 17-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is in a great location, Ben and his staff are really helpful for any needs. The hotel is typically French, we was so pleased to get a room at the front with French door opening on to a small balcony. There was always someone around to help. Some bathrooms are smaller but adequate for short breaks. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Rugby League Weekend Break

Posted 17-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
The Hotel Alexander is in a great location right at the heart of the city. The staff are really helpful and went out of their way to make our party feel welcome. Room rates are very competitive and good value for money as is the breakfast which is an optional extra. Ideal hotel for anyone visiting for the area especially for the rugby, they cater well for large or small groups. Ben & his staff made us feel very welcome...

Great value

Posted 26-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
Having read the mixed reviews and with 8 in our group (including 5 young children), we were prepared for a drab cramped hotel stay on our last night in France. But the quad and triple rooms were large, clean, quiet and air-conditioned, the rooms and petit dejeuner were great value for money and the hotel is in a great location next to the medieval town centre and a km from Gare de Perpignan. Would definitely stay there again.
