This is a nice hotel a couple of blocks from the Strip with all its attractions, It is a complex of three storey blocks with the Casino and the Pool in the centre.
The rooms are spacious and clean.
Unfortunately the pool is too small for the number of guests and a sun lounger was difficult to get unless one gets to the pool early,
Casino has plenty of slots but few table games,
The restaurants on site were all good and value for money.
My room was not ready so they upgraded me to a suit witch was actually pretty nice beds comfortable. Entertainment was nice pools where awesome. Ordering extra glasses for drinks took a very long time.
We just needed a room for one night in Vegas so that we could catch a flight out first thing in the morning. I had my two kids with me (ages 4 and 2), so I was really drawn to the photos of the gorgeous pool on Expedia. The pool really does look like the pictures, and we definitely went swimming!
The room was very clean, smelled like it was actually a non-smoking room (so many of them still have a faint smell of smoke, even though you asked for a non-smoking room; I'm sure people sneak cigarettes into their rooms all the time), so we really appreciated that. The TV on the wall was huge. The bathroom was clean.
My only complaints were that there wasn't a mini fridge or microwave in the room, and there also wasn't a continental breakfast. (I think there was an option to pay extra for a mini fridge.) However, we only paid $30 for the night, and the room was reeeally nice for that rate, so I couldn't complain too much about the fridge/microwave thing.
We took advantage of the free shuttle from the hotel to the airport in the morning, and that was an added plus. I would absolutely stay here again! :-)
This resort would have been a five star if it weren't for an insect problem. I'm not if the place gets regular pest control but there were a number of small black bugs that seemed to congregate to the bathroom. Eg I ran a bath the first night of my stay there and whilst in the tub a couple had dropped into the water. When I got out of the tub there were a numerous amount of bugs crawling around on the bath mat and floor. A couple of bugs had also managed to find there way onto the bed also. This really upset me as I didnt expect to wake up to bugs in the bed. I would recommend this hotel to others but only as a second resort.
I loved the fact hotel wasn't on the main Strip. It was quiet in comparison to the hotels on the Strip. Most of the hotel staff were very polite. Rooms were cleaned immaculately. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I was to come to Vegas.
The hotel staff was very nice and the hotel rooms were clean. The only thing I did not like was that the lounge/bar/casino area is right where you check in. Smoking is allowed in these areas, so there is not a way to enter the hotel without being exposed to a significant amount of cigarette smoke. I smelled like an ash tray and I do not smoke. I understand I will have this if I choose to go to a bar or casino but checking into my room????
This area has more lodging variety than The Strip. East of the Strip features both gaming and non-gaming properties that range from budget to luxury accommodations. Key attractions here include the Las Vegas Convention Center, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the McCarran International Airport, several office parks, and the Restaurant Row along Flamingo and Paradise roads.
