“Excellent hotel!”

The Charme Hotel Hancelot is a lovely hotel, tucked away in a quiet side street in Ghent, within walking distance of the city centre. We found it easy, cheap and safe to park on the street outside the hotel, although the hotel does have its own (relatively expensive) car park. The hotel is full of character, and our room was beautifully decorated. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were polite and helpful. There were several unexpected extras, including a welcoming drink on arrival, and the provision of slippers in the rooms. We stayed at the hotel for three nights and would definitely go back.
