Beautiful large room. Great pool. The best complimentary breakfast. Very convenient, 2-1/2 blocks from Main Street. Good value.

“Durango Co. Best Western Rio Grande”

The hotel was a nice place to stay. It is in the historical area of Durango. It's a short walk to the depot and the rest of downtown. The pool is smaller, but it's nice that it's inside. It was a nice place to stay and the rates were good.

“Best value in Durango”

The hotel staff was very friendly and the accomodations were as nice and even better than those that charge twice as much. A free breakfast buffet of cereal, pasrty, toast, bagels, fruit, waffles & drinks was a bonus. The location was also nice; within easy walking distance of many shops & restaraunts as well as the Silverton Durango Railroad Depot.

“Great Location Downtown Durango!”

This is a great place to stay if you want to be in walking distance of everything downtown Durango. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. You receive drink vouchers when you arrive and I believe they had breakfast in the morning as well. We chose to dine somewhere else as I lived in Durango for many years and had a favorite breakfast spot.

A great location, great staff, a bed that won't hurt your back - good breakfast, central pool, evening drinks. My favorite place to stay in Durango and I've tried most of 'em.

We had an excellent stay. Great location. Excellent breakfast. Loved the Happy Hour! Staff was great. Our room was very clean and nice.

Other than my opening remarks, the room was everything and more than we expected. Very comfortable. One addition I would recommend is to have a recliner or easy chair in the room. The chairs provided were not comfortable if sat in for more than a few minutes (watching TV).

“Mountain Bike Weekend”

The entire hotel staff was very receptive and helpful, We visisted Durango for a couple of days of mountain biking and the entire experience was better than we had hoped for or expected. We will definitely return. Often!
