"Booked in for an overnight stay for me and my little girl. She chose to stay at the Angus as part of her birthday.
The service was amazing and we were made to feel so welcome. Can’t remember the name of the guy who was in restaurant serving the tables but he was lovely! My little girl thought he was a graduate from Hogwarts due to the “magic candle” on our table!! The food was really nice, so nice in fact that my 10 year old ate a full ‘Surf n Turf’… the portions were adequate and very good quality. The staff go out their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible and are on hand if you have any questions.
Having the pool and spa facilities made our stay a bit more special.
Highly recommend for a stay 😁"
"Lovely stay at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The spa and pool, although small, is a great bonus. The pub, bar, larder and restaurant are nicely decorated. The fire place burning in the evenings is adding to the cosy atmosphere. The food is good. The hotel is also dog friendly.
We would likely return for another stay. "
