“Convenient and Comfortable”

Very conveniently located only 2 blocks from the railway station, main retail precinct, and Dunedin Hospital. Only 1 block from the Cadbury factory, and a major supermarket less than a block away. Parking is available at rear of building, or in our case we were lucky enough to be given access to secure parking under the building. Access to building, floors and rooms is by secure swipe-card. The rooms were compact but certainly adequate for two adults. A compact all frosted glass ensuite sits in one corner and whilst it appears small, it performs its function perfectly. Kitchenette comprised small fridge, sink, microwave, toaster, jug, crockery, glassware and utensils. The bed was very comfortable and the window could be opened if desired. TV had the usual channels for hotels in NZ. There was a communal theatre room on our floor but we did not use it during our stay. We noticed occasional low-level noise in the morning from a factory over the road, but we only noticed this because we had the window open. We had 2 nights at LivingSpace Dunedin and enjoyed our stay. I recommend it as a comfortable and very convenient place to stay.

“Good value for money”

Good hotel, 10 minitues walk from the city centre. The room was small but modern with all facilities you would need. Not much attention was given to cleaning of the room (i.e. the windows were dirty and the blings very dusty - the rest of the rom was clean). Street parking is free between 6 pm - 9 am (1NZD/hour other times). I would recommend this hotel - it is good value from money and we felt very confortable there.

“Location, location”

This is a cheap and comfortable hotel with a great location. Walking distance from the station, the Octagon and Cadbury's make it ideal for discovering Dunedin.

“Dunedin Industries”

It was all in all value for money. The negative side was that the hotel is located next to same industrial estates. They can be noisy in the morning, and I tend not to be an early bird when on holiday. The room was fine, but a decent reading light was missing.

“caters more to young people”

It seemed that the majority of people staying at this facility were young travelers and/or students. Nothing inherently wrong with that. Also, we stayed during the start of the off season so other guests were relatively few.

“Great Space”

Living Space suited my needs perfectly. I was staying on my own so the size of the room and the funky glass bathroom & lack of privacy didn't matter too much. Everything was very clean, warm and well equipped. The large communal rooms are a good idea for those who don't want to spend all the time in their rooms and were very attractive and inviting. Location was perfect for visiting the University and seeing the sights. The reception staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Will definitely use again and recommend to friends.

“Good value for money!”

We stayed over New Years Eve - Living Space is the closest accomodation to the Railway Station and 2 large supermarkets within very closeby walking distance. Parking was free which was great. We had a room up on the 4th floor and it was quiet ( though we had the window closed). For the price you pay you get a really clean room with a comfy bed and a space saving bathroom, i.e. all you need. You can even watch SKY Movies for free! We have probably not had many places we stayed at where you get as much for a really fair price. I would stay again.

“Reasonably priced”

Handy for Dunedin centre, immediate surrounding area a let down, noise from 24/7 skateboarders. Hotel functional and reasonablly priced. An extra chair in the room would an asset.
