My room HVAC was very noisy, and I don't like Duvet blankets, too hot or too cold. Otherwise, the hotel was ok.

“Best Service, So-so Rooms”

Hunting for my children's toys and shoes, we found a shoe and an empty Dr. Pepper bottle. The bed was very uncomfortable, but the service was excellent. So many of the employees smiled and offered to help.

Area recommendations

Duncanville was convenient to downtown Dallas and to Glen Rose, TX. We were able to visit the Natural History Museum, the Railroad Museum, the Lego Store, Dinosaur Valley State Park, and Dinosaur World easily.

“New, Clean and Convenient to Duncanville”

The Hilton Garden Inn Duncanville was a nice place to stay while visiting family in Duncanville. Hilton Garden Inn scored higher (with me and my family) than the Holiday Inn Express in DeSoto where we usually stay. The Garden Inn has a restaurant in-house (which we didn't try, but will next time). The one hitch in our stay was when one of their two elevators broke down. An employee was stationed by the elevator on the third floor where we stayed to summon the elevator when needed. (Good) But there were so many loud noises coming from the elevators that we decided to take the stairs. (Not so good) Unfortunately, the stairway only leads you to the outside. (Even worse) One has to go outside, then come back into the lobby using one's key. The stairs themselves were also not in good repair (i.e., broken concrete steps) Inexcusable considering the age of the building. All in all a good hotel. We will stay there again!

“A Pleasant surprise”

I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel. Clean room, friendly staff, well-equiped bussiness room. They even had cookies every afternoon in the lobby for all the guests. I will look for this chain in other cities for my bussiness and pleasure trips. Close to downtown Dallas, to Six Flags and to the airport.
