“Would have liked to stay longer”

This hotel provides comfortable and spacious rooms with a great view of the bay and harbor. Very clean and well maintained. Comfy bed. Kitchenette for those inclined to prepare their own food. Had we known that the hotel and Cowichan Bay and surroundings were so nice, we certainly would have stayed longer.

“Perfect family getaway”

This was our second trip to this hotel, and we thought it was great in the one bedroom suite for myself,my mother and my two young sons...upon arrivel this time the front desk informed us of a complementary upgrade to a 2 bedroom, because they thought it would be more comfortable for the boys!!!! Great work!! We will be back

“doesn't match the picture on expedia”

I don't know where the picture was taken of this hotel. It is several stories on a hillside along the marina and there is no opposite bldg. I was concerned the opposite bldg in the picture was a casino. Luckily it was not even there. This is the greatest little town. The bakery down the street is fantastic. The restaurant in the hotel is first rate. Next door is an even better restaurant, the Masthead Cafe. It's a great location with many things to see and do in the area.

“Not too bad”

Very pretty location by the ocean. Phone system did not work. Toilet needed tweaking but there was no maintenance staff available and the front office promised to put it on "tomorrows list for repairs". Food is great and restaurant staff are pros. Furnishings of the rooms - the two room suite had only chairs to sit on - no sofa. and no mirror except in the bathroom. Does not deserve more than 3 stars out of five but we had lots of fun anyway so who cares.

“Not even a disappointment !”

My family and I arrived here with extremely high expectations. What we found was extremely third world and certainly not a 3 star resort. No air conditioning! Lots of flies, flies and more flies! We tried the "Restaurant" on arrival and the only thing that was good was the view. Service, cleanliness and quality probably would not even meet third world standards. With a temperature of 30' C outside the corridors were heated to a "balmy" 36' C. No need for a sauna.
