“great small hotel, near food & shopping, near univ of charleston”

We only needed to stay one night, the hotel staff was very friendly. the comp breakfast was a lot better than most hotels, there is 2 fast food restaurants right near hotel and a supermarket, very convienent. it took us 15 min to get to the town center mall and only ten minutes to get to univ of charleston, so hotel is pretty well located. there is a train track on other side of street - we may have gotten lucky nothing through night, saw one at 830am next morning- we've stayed at hotels where thats all you heard was train horns, at ALL hours,so i was quite relieved

“good experience”

traveled with a group of teens from our church and they were very helpful and accomodating. The only disappointing part was that the lobby/breakfast area was small and there was no place to sit and eat, we had to take our food back to our room and eat. Other then this it was a great experience.

We had great service and stay and great rates for the area, clean, and nice staff, could not have asked for anymore, good continental breakfast too!

“Super 8 at Dunbar, WV”

The motel was in a quiet area which we liked. We only had to travel a few miles to see our family. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We feel the room was clean and kept up. The outside was kept clean. Grocery stores and restaurants were close. We were very comfortable there and felt safe. We would stay there again.

I checked in late at night and they had my paperwork ready for me! The gentleman on duty was very kind. When I checked out the next morning the lady at the desk was also very kind. I am from Houston, TX. and though we "pride" ourselves on being polite...there is a difference in being polite and being kind!!! Thank you!!!

I went there on business. I had continental breakfast at the lobby and there were always hot coffee available.

“Decent Place to Spend One Night”

I wouldn't rant and rave about this hotel. When I stayed there, I was simply looking for a place to spend the night and wasn't worried about amenities, etc. The hallways were a bit musty, but the room was clean enough. I didn't find any obvious signs of a previous occupant; the floor was freshly vacuumed, and the bathroom had been cleaned. However, the comforter on the bed was well-worn (although the sheets were fresh) and the chair in the corner did not look like something I would want to sit on. If you're looking for a cheap place to spend one night, I would recommend this place. It is right next to a Wendy's and a block from a Chinese restaurant that has surprisingly good food. It's only a 10 minute drive from downtown Charleston. However, if you're looking to stay more that one night and plan to spend a lot of time in your hotel room, skip this place and try somewhere else.

“OK for small town”

We had to stay on the third floor, only way up was stairs. this was very hard for 2 old people.

“Average hotel”

It was a decent place to spend the night on the way to Charlotte, NC. I was just looking for a place to sleep after a 7 hour drive. The hotel did have an OK continental breakfast included.

“Great Place to stay for a night”

This hotel was not huge but was perfect for what I needed. I just needed to stay for a night and I slept well. The room was clean and had everything that I needed. The TV had more channels to choose from than I do at home. It had pretty much every cable channel. I did not have any noise complaints what-so-ever. The staff was friendly. The shower had good pressure and had hot water! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a night or 2 to stay! The only complaint I had was I couldn't find a pop machine but that's a minor complaint.
