Great Hotel very close to the Centre...

Posted 26-Aug-2014
Pros: Loved the Location.
Cons: Needs no improvement.
Location: Very close to City Centre, 10 mins walk, we walked the whole weekend, good for keep fit... Lots of great shops near by.
I have stayed at this hotel many times. It's in a great location, easy walking 10 mins to city centre, and Main Line Railway Station. We had an Appartmant this time and it's well recommended, very spacious and comftable, lovely small bar in the lobby with good food.

very good hotel close to everything

Posted 06-Aug-2014
Pros: The location to everything
Cons: Maybe a paint job if you have a room overlooking the rear of the hotel.
Location: 5 min walk from the train station,15/20 mins stroll to the old town, also if you want to stay local at night there is plenty to do also.
Just a 5 min walk from the train station, and a 15/20 min stroll to the old town, this hotel was very good value for money. The staff were very helpful with all that we asked, and needed. would certainly stay here again.

Ideal location for a city break.

Posted 03-Aug-2014
Pros: The atmosphere was welcoming and staff were helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the room functioned well.
Location: On the left of the hotel is a 5 minute walk to the rail station. On the right it takes 5minutes to reach the Königs Allee.
The main purpose of our visit was to spend 4 days exploring Düsseldorf on foot. We found the location central for all things with good transport facilities if needed. The rail station, with useful shops, is close by. The outstanding plus was the quietness of the room. We were unaware of other guests and slept undisturbed each night. The room was well maintained and equipped with a stocked mini bar, tea making facilities and hair dryer. We did not take breakfast but used the bar in the evening and found all staff friendly and helpful.

Great staff - excellent restaurant

Posted 19-May-2014
Pros: Best thing about the hotel was actually the restaurant - we dined there on our first night and had the very best waiter service and the very best food
Cons: a King Size bed, particularly in a suite, should be a proper king size bed, not 2 singles pushed together (not even a king size topper was available)
Location: Walking distance to the Ko, the famous shopping street, and also to the River via the longest bar in the world.
We booked the only room still available at this particular hotel during the Interpack Fair - which meant we booked the Privilege Suite - a 2-story suite with King Size bed (actually two singles pushed together - not the best solution for the price we paid), bathroom, separate toilet and washbasin, dining table with chairs, coffee maker, fridge, and upstairs a work desk, a sofa and another TV. It was like an apartment.

dear Lyndsay I really appreciate your nice recommendation. and the suggestion to change the two single beds into a king size. I will think about it.

About 15 mins walk from Altstad (Old Town)

Posted 07-May-2014
Pros: Cleanliness. Staff. Facilities.
Cons: Our only extremely slight disappointment was that the tables and chairs outside the hotel were not put up until the last day we were there.
Location: 15 mins walk into the Old Town, so excellent location.
We had an early flight and arrived at the hotel much earlier than their 12 noon check-in time. The male receptionist was extremely helpful and polite and allowed us to check-in immediately. The staff throughout our stay were so polite and nothing was too much trouble. We had a standard double room, which had a very small balcony, which to us was an absolute bonus as we love sitting outside in the morning. The bathroom and room were spotlessly clean and there was a safe in the room. Overall we were very impressed and would highly recommend to anyone.

Great staff, good location. Clean, needs updating.

Posted 29-Apr-2014
Pros: Location, staff, cleanliness, wifi
Cons: Decor. Breakfast selection.
Location: Close to all attractions
Good location - 5 mins from train station, 5 mins to Konigsallee, 10 mins to Altstadt. Very clean & comfy, good free wifi. Helpful staff. No gym or sauna. Breakfast at €22 very expensive for what you get.
