“wonderfull view”

Excellent location for visits to Normandie and Bretagne,especially Le Mont St Michel. Hotel very clean,all services as advertised...no surprises. River view wonderful.Nice breakfast.

“Charming river view”

Our room had a river view as promised. The continental breakfast the next AM was great. Location to Mt. Ste. Michel was good.

“Charmer !”

This town is ideally located for visits to Mont. St Michel. I would visit this hotel again because it is just 15 minutes away from the Mount and yet has the charm of a small town. Very friendly staff. Breakfast option avail for 11 Euro pp (not cheap but food in Europe isn't cheap anywhere). Hotel is small but clean; has elevator. Rooms are small but have everything you need, plus a view of the town's river and bridge. We went during Easter break and it was always quiet. Bathrooms are updated enough to feel airy and clean. Town has a Patisserie, Butcher, supermarket, post office, 3 restaurants, tiny clothing store, etc. I would much rather stay here than at the hotel 'town' that has cropped up around the entrance bridge to Mont St. Michel. That area lacks any charm and offers nothing but hotels & restaurants with a road running through them. Yes you'd get a better view - but at what price?! Oh, and this hotel has free parking too...

Area recommendations
When staying in this area, Mont St. Michel is a must see! The charm of this tiny medieval 'city' atop a rocky mount is fantastic and the seafood is very good. If you don't mind driving a bit in one day, you could combine a few World War II sights/Normandy from this hotel.
Getting around
This area should be seen by car, unless you are on a tour bus, because the surrounding areas can be rural but are easily accessed by the Highway that runs close to Ducey and Mont. St. Michel. You are close to bigger cities and to the coasts of Normandy and Brittany, but you need a car.
Family-friendly activities
A river runs through/behind this town and we saw many locals fishing. As we left one morning, I counted 13 fisherman standing on the river's edge, quite close to each other. I am sure tours can be easily arranged. There is also, again, Mont St. Michel for sightseeing.

“Le Moulin de Ducey: charme proche du Mont St Michel”

Le Moulin de Ducey offre une qualité de service très satisfaisante. Le charme de la rivière qui l'entoure ainsi que celui du village sont indéniables. C'est un très bon plan à proximité du Mont St Michel.
