Beautiful Room

Posted 30-Jan-2015
Pros: proximity to old town as it is within the city walls
Cons: was a bit damp after a shower but also i was in the lower suite
Location: all of old town Dubrovinik at your door step
The owners son picked me up from the bus depot so i could meet his mother who showed me to the guest house. it was a beautiful room, comfy bed and so close to everything in Dubrovnik. I highly recommend this place.

Posted 05-Nov-2014 on Hotels.com

Great location but lots of steps

Posted 15-Oct-2014
Hotel was clean and neat when I arrived, but no one came in to my room the entire time. No trash emptying, or clean towels. In fact I never saw another person in the building for two days. Still I nice clean convent place for the price.

Dear guest someone is coming in the house at least once a day and checking all the rooms , emptying the trash and changing towels , cleaning the kitchenette . Maybe you didn't see them but someone was definitely there .

Super easy and a great location!

Lovely little guest house right in the middle of old town within the city walls. Pretty easy to find, we went through the main "Pile Gate" and looked for the street we needed, Antuninska, which was on the left (well I say street, they're alley ways). Hint: you need to look back at each street to read the name. Then up a couple of flights of steps. Number 10 is clearly marked on the right. We were greeted and given our keys and left instructions for checking out the next day and pretty much left to our own devices. It was really easy for us to leave our cases the next day after checking out as there's a spare key, only for the main door. Super easy and a great location!

1 night stay

Posted 28-Sep-2014
Pros: The generous hospitality.
We stayed here for 1 night after returning from a sailing holiday. The room was small, but perfectly adequate as a base for seeing the town, and was clean with a good bathroom and shower. The owners were extremely helpful, even going as for to let our friends dump their kit and use the facilities whilst waiting for their flight out. We were also loaned a large umbrella as it had been raining heavily. Although we didn't use the small communal kitchenette, I understand it was stocked with complimentary bottled water and juice. We had stayed in larger and more expensive rooms when we first arrived in Dubrovnik, but were not made as welcome as we were at Vicelic.

Wow experience

We loved being so close to the Stadun. Anka and Darko were so very good to us. Darko picked us up and took us to a parking area. The accommodations were very relaxing and every amenity was well thought out. Even a small kitchenette was available. There are many stairs so pack accordingly. Can't beat the location.

Lovely guest house

This is a great place to stay while in Dubrovnik, room 4 is spacious and comfortabe, aircon and flatscreen, good wi-fi in room, bed was very comfy, bathroom nice with a large shower. Overall very clean place with friendly peolpe running it. Kitchenette has teas, coffee, sugar, fully equipped fridge full of juices, water, fruit, very nice touch. You will have to climb quite a few steps to get there but it's typical for Dubrovnik. There is a supermarket and war photo museum on the same street. Great value for money.

nice room, very well located

Posted 02-Sep-2014
Pros: very well located, right in the middle of center dubrovnik
Cons: the check in, not easy at all, had to look for somebody to do us a favor and lend us a phone to call the owner.
Location: near by center town, very good.
it was very nice, the only problem was that it wasnt clear to me that you had to pay only in cash it says you have to call the owner to let her know at what time you are getting there, we tried to email, no email, then we called her international call, and then still when we get there there was nobody... no big trouble at first, but if u think you are getting there after a long trip, with suitcases up all the stairs, with the heath, and all that.. is not that nice. Finding a public phone to make a call in certain places is not easy at all.
