Great location in old city on quiet street.

This is a wonderful place to stay. In the heart of old walled city. Nikolina and her staff took care of everything for us including transfers restaurant recommendations and ferry information.

Room was musty.

Nice staff. Ground floor room was damp and musty. Second floor may have been better.

Ideal location in old Debrovnik!

Smallish room up 4 flights of stairs but comfortable and clean and ideally located close to everything but far enough away not to be crowded by tour groups. Nikolina, the host, is a delight!

Nothing to do with the pictures shown

The location was good and as advertised, but the apartment had nothing to do with the photos shown in the Ad. Not remodeled at all. You have to take a one minute shower or else expect cold water. I guess the owner has other rooms that have been updated, but ours was pretty bad. Our apartment was 2 streets from Villa Sigurata. I wish she would have given us what we saw in the Ad. She was friendly and nice but the place was not.

This accommodation is wonderful. The owners are fantastic and extremely helpful, the location is amazing, in a beautiful part of the historic old town of Dubrovnik. I would recommend this to everyone and we will definitely be returning.

Cannot rate the customer service highly enough .Nikolina was waiting for us when we arrived, and gave us as much information on dining, sightseeing, events, etc,. Dubrovnik is a beautiful city and staying within the old town is the only way to see it.

Excellent service

We stayed at the Villa Siguarta in May 2014. We had a fantastic experience. Nikola (the owner) greeted us by name upon our arrival, and the excellent experience continued from there. Nikola clearly cares a lot aboit her hotel. Our room was clean, and nicely renovated to be modern, but to maintain the historic touch of the area. The hotel was close to major sights, but still quiet and private. The Wi-Fi connectivity is very good, especially considering you are in a stone building. There was air-conditioning with a remote control, a small fridge and satellite tv in the room, though we didn't watch much tv. All in all, we were very happy with the experience. The one point worth knowing is that payment is cash only. She accepts kuna and euro, and there are lots of bank machines in the old town, so it wasn't a problem, it's just not something we are used to.

Villa Sigurata can be found in the old walled town of Dubrovnik just behind the the Cathedral on Stulina street and is great for accessing all the attractions of the old town. Room #5 was spacious, clean and well lit though the shower room/toilet is a little small and could pose a problem for a 'fuller' person. The room came fitted with a double bed, writing desk, fridge, TV with cable, air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a small table and chair set. The TV also had a HDMI port on which you could hook up a media player if you wanted to watch a film etc. Also, there is a really good hair dryer in the shower room. The room view was of the neighbouring building, not a problem though, as you are staying in the original residential area of a medieval town this was to expected as I could touch the houses on both sides of the narrow street on the approach to the villa. The accommodation has a communal kitchen on the ground floor where you can make breakfast and free tea/coffee as you please (milk required). There are a number of guide books in various languages and maps of Dubrovnik can be found here. The building has a flight of stairs reaching all the upper floor rooms from room #2 upwards but room #1 is opposite the kitchen on the ground floor so if stairs are a problem then room #1 would be best to book. My only gripe was the noise that can occur from inconsiderate guests in the hallways and reception area as the building is made of stone and sound really travels well here.

Great room in Dubrovnik Old Town

Lovely welcome from Nikolina. Given maps and recommendations for restaurants. Room small but immaculate with tiny ensuite shower room. Also immaculate. Keys to come and go as you please. Room with tables and kettle for making your own tea /coffee /breakfast. Perfect location for a day or two in Dubrovnik.
