“Very Impressed with Hotel Dubrovnik”

I was treated very well at the Hotel Dubrovnik by the staff and manager who could not have done any more to make my stay very enjoyable, location of the hotel is excellant with regards the beach and bus stop, there are also a number of very good and fair priced restaurants at close hand.

“Average”

The hotel room was small, reasonably priced and situated a 15 bus trip from old town of dubrovnik, on a pleasant restaurant walking only street and near an average beach. There was no parking available. The sheets were not changed at all for the duration of a 5 night stay, even though we complained on the 4th night and the sheets needed changing every night.

“Needs to do better”

Although the receptionist was pleasant it was all down hill from there. Our room had not been cleaned properly and contained someone's dental applicance, a body scrub pad, dirty towels and glasses that were still wet. The room was so small the chair would not even fit behind the desk and the accumulated dirt meant I didn't even want to touch the plug board to recharge my camera. The breakfast room was similarly grimy, the breakfast waiter the only inattentive person in the whole of Croatia and on the whole we felt that this hotel was hugely disappointing. In our travels to Croatia we stayed in many hotels (some much cheaper) and all better than this one. A shame, the location was good, the beach nice and in principle a good place to stay. Just not here. We're not overly fussy but this place really did need more attention than it was getting.

“Needs some maintenance and better cleaning”

Hotel Dubrovnik was conveniently located and reasonable for the price but needs some maintenance and better cleaning. Our shower in particular was in a poor state of maintenance including a lot of mould, slow draining and a bundle of someone else's hair.

“Would definitely stay here again”

Everything we had expected in a small personal hotel with character. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location set in a lane of similar hotels with indoor /outdoor dining. Frequent & handy bus service into Old City. Being the shoulder season it was quieter and we enjoyed the local culture. Good breakfast.

“Weekend getaway”

The hotel was in a residential yet tourist area with lots of convenient eateries and a grocery store nearby. Bus service was inexpensive and quick to "Old Town." 3 minute walk from hotel and runs every 10 minutes or so. Hotel breakfast was included and was fine; nothing amazing but a convenient and free way to start the day. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Great discounts through desk on excursion style day trips that were quite nice. Wi-Fi was hit or miss unfortunately. 3 minute walk to beach. Felt very safe in neighborhood.

“Pleasurable stay”

Very friendly staff, good location, listened to our request not to change bed linen and towles every day. Would recommend

“Great little hotel”

We really enjoyed our week at this small local hotel. Igor at the front desk did his best to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were a little dated but fairly clean and comfortable. The shared balcony was different, and added some local character to our stay. Breakfast was very nice. The location was perfect for us. Not too close to the center of Dubrovnik, but on a bus route to downtown. This little neighborhood had plenty of charms of its own, several pizza places and a nice long walk along the sea. We would come here again.

“Lovely place”

Lovely hotel, a short bus ride to the old city. Rooms were very clean with A/C. The central air wasn't working and we were given a remote for the other room a/c which was more than adequate. Bathrooms were great and refreshing. Also the breakfast was included and there was plenty to choose from. Excellent hotel!
