“WOW”
I do not know where to begin - we have travelled extensively and this is in the top three hotels we have stayed in. And to think it was my second choice. I would go to Dubrovnik just to stay in this hotel. Very cheap in Canadian Dollars - comparatively speaking. AND THEY UPGRADED US TO A SUITE!!! (time of year of course). An amazing hotel, well situated, with a spectacular breakfast, friendly staff and wonderfull water access. Can not say enough good about this hotel.
“Dubrovnik palace”
The location for use was good we went in sept so it was quite which suited us ,if you want to go to old town there was a shuttle bus ,part of our deal was breakfast included which was really good ,we there to have a relaxing time
“Worth it.”
The Palace is not the least expensive place to stay in Dubrovnik. But it is worth every penny. Beautiful setting, beautiful view from every room A large pool but you can also jump straight into the warm Adriatic sea. Excellent breakfast included. Fifteen minutes from the Old City by local bus which is always available, Or splurge on a cab. Only negative is the dining room. The food is simply not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. (However the sushi bar is first-rate.) Dining room aside, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone except those traveling on a tight budget.
“Would highly recommend this hotel”
Well located hotel, close to local restaurants etc. Very nice pool area.
“Satisfied Customer”
The location, with sea views and the facilities within this hotel were second to none. The friendliness and efficiency of the staff, together with the extreme cleanliness of this hotel contributed to our enjoyment of our holiday in this beautiful setting.
“Outstanding service all-around!”
The room was quite spacious and the view incredible. Even the "garden" views face the Adriatic, so you'll have a great view. The hotel offers free shuttle service to/from Old Town Dubrovnik, which is a short ride and very convenient. Should you need to get into town in times outside of the shuttle hours, the local bus line number 4 stops right in front of the hotel and takes you into town very inexpensively. It runs every 15 minutes. Spa and facilities were top-notch. Would definitely come back to this hotel!
“Great choice in Dubrovnik”
As soon as you walk into the Dubrovnik Palace the view knocks your socks off. It was about a 5-10 minute cab or bus ride from the downtown walled city. In a nice little neighborhood, on a peninsula with gorgeous views of the Adriatic and the mountains that climb right out of the water. The hotel is basically built into the side of a cliff so every room has a balcony that is very private and overlooks the water. Really stunning. There are these little rocky ledges for sunbathing and restaurants etc. A very nice place to stay, although the room is exceedingly simple. Nice. Comfortable. But nothing to write home about. It's really all about the view and location. The one thing we messed up on -- we didn't realize breakfast was included with our room rate, son we missed out on what was probably some good food, based on the lunches we had here. Not cheap, but good. Definitely the best location in Dubrovnik.
“Excellent break”
The Palace is not pretty from the outside but the views from within are fabulous. Panoramic views of the Dalmation Coast islands dominate reception. The hotel is built into the cliff and all of the rooms are on levels below reception and each has a balcony with a stunning view. Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Down on the rocky shore the infinity pools and swim in bar are delightful. Some sun beds are rather close together but the grounds meander along the sea so a quiet place can usually be found although some spots get spray from the dramatic crashing waves. A ten minute walk down the hill brings you to the sheltered Lapad Bay where the first quaint restauant does a great lunch with friendly service. The hotel shuttle bus makes a ten minute journey into the Old Town which is best visited in the evening to avoid the large number of liner passengers. Evening meals there are atmospheric. The wall walk, the bar on the edge by the cliff jumpers and cable car are all must dos. If you miss the shuttle, the number 4 bus is very frequent and if there are four of you a cab is is only marginally more expensive. We only stayed for three days and now want to return for all the sites and excursions we didn't have time for.
“Very comfortable”
Great place to spend the whole day by the pool or by the sea. Even on cloudy days, the spa area on the top floor has an indoor swimming pool and great view out to sea. A little further than other hotels to get to the local bay area, but this is compensated by the excellent facilities and views. Convenient shuttle bus to Old Town, plus cheap frequent bus service.
“Nice place”
Lots of positives, nice location good breakfast, wonderfool swimming pools
