Amazing views, fabulous service and restaurant

Posted 29-Mar-2015
Pros: We liked: the restaurant, he views from the balcony, the pool, the decor, the staff, the bathroom (great bath!), sound of the waves from bed!
Cons: The layout of the hotel is a little confusing at times. We couldn't work out how to get to the pool without going through the restaurant!
Location: 15 mins walk to Dubrovnik Old Town. Lots to do there! Take the cable car up to the fort (or walk if you're brave!) for some amazing views!
The Bellevue is an absolutely stunning hotel. Every area is clean, modern and feels luxurious. The rooms are immaculate and we stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the small bay. The views were fantastic - to watch the weather and feel the sun it was perfect for relaxation. The hotel facilities were great too. We made use of the restaurant on two occasions - once for a meal and once just for pudding. Every time it was absolutely fantastic - beautiful presentation and stunning quality food. If you are planning a special occasion, think of having a meal here! It was expensive but worth every penny. Breakfasts were fantastic. A lot of choice, you couldn't ask for more. Although we were two adults, there was plenty of selection for all ages and a good selection of hot and cold food available. The pool was perfect - we travelled in March when there weren't many people in Dubrovnik but the pool was empty most of the time. It was a little cold but the hot tub made up for this! We also used the spa facilities. They were fantastic - two types of sauna and then a wealth of massages and similar to use. The ladies in the spa were very good! The walk to Dubrovnik Old Town was perfect for us but I would warn elderly or families with youngsters to use the bus service as there were some trickier bits to walk on. It is about 10-15 minutes walk. The area you walk through feels safe and has some lovely views. Fantastic hotel -- we would certainly book again and recommend.

Perfectly located!

Pros: See above
Cons: Dinner portion size (or reduce prices, one or the other)
What a fantastic find! From the exceptionally clean room, to the very generous breakfast, the graciousness of every member of the staff, to the dramatic setting perched on the edge of a cliff atop turquoise waters ... not to mention the easy access to Old Town Dubrovnik ... we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more at this hotel. Parking was ample - and free! - WIFI was reliable (and free!), and we were very much made to feel welcome. If I had to pick on one thing, it would be that the dinner seemed a bit pricey for the portion ... but that's a minor observation compared to all the greatness of the hotel. Would definitely come back!

excellent hotel

Posted 06-Nov-2014
Pros: everything .. view service location , cleanliness ... the list goes on
Cons: nothing !
Location: the old town was walkable 800m ..lots of historic sights , restaurants and boats to take you to surrounding islands.
was a lovely surprise to actually find a hotel better than you expect ... In every way .. its location , facilities , proximity to the old town ( walkable ! ) and quiet enough to relax on its own private beach .. All the staff were amazing and there for whatever you need and nothing was too much trouble . I cannot recommend this highly enough .. I would certainly give this hotel an excellent all round !

Well placed hotel - walking distance from Old Town

Posted 06-Nov-2014
Pros: Sea View from all rooms; Breakfast; Beach access
Cons: Tea and coffee facilities standard in all rooms.
Location: Plenty to see in Old Town - City Walls, historic buildings. museums etc. Excellent Sea Kayaking. Cable Car gave lovely views.
We had a lovely stay here in late October. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Old Town - downhill on the way there and up on the way back, but not particularly steep. Great views from rooms and restaurant, with an almost private beach, well equipped with sun loungers, towels etc. We only used the beach restaurant to order coffee, but meals were available down there apart from the very end of our stay when it seemed to close for the winter. Not a problem except that the beach level toilets were then not available. Hotel pool lovely. Excellent breakfast, really set us up for the day and meant we didn't need much lunch. Main restaurant served excellent food but more expensive than we would usually pay so we only ate there once. Plenty of places to eat in the Old Town. We didn't venture out to the surrounding countryside - a 5 day stay was about right for visiting the Old Town and immediate vicinity. Travelling at that time of year, we had great weather during the daytime but it got quite chilly at night, meaning that we chose to eat quite early and then return to the hotel, rather than stay out later. Would be happy to use this hotel if we travelled there again. Only disappointment was the tea/coffee facilities were not in our room - we were told they are only usually provided in the suites. For a hotel of this calibre, we felt this should be standard - and was provided in our room after we had asked.

휴양하기 좋은 호텔

두브로브닉 구시가지와 도보 15분 거리. 혼잡하지 않고 깨끗함. 전용 해변이 아름다움. 호텔 등급에 비해 조식은 약간 아쉬움.
