The hotel building was beautiful soft stone and the entrance was very attractive with an outdoor dining area and well tended planting. The indoor decor was dark and traditional. The staff were very good, helpful without being intrusive . Breakfast went on until 11am and the choice was good especially fresh fruit juice, fresh fruit and cooked omelets. At times the restaurant and terrace seemed empty, an the terrace bar was not staffed.
The pool area in the rear garden was very attractive, although not too warm.
We only stayed 2 nights, but would happily have stayed more, and would definitely go back. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and particularly helpful. The breakfast was very good. Lots of variety with fresh fruit and egg and omelette stations, warm breads and pancakes etc which set us up for the day.
We stayed in the apartment as a family of five with three grown up children in September 2014. The apartment was lovely and spacious; it was clean and well equipped with everything you would need, including a washing machine, dishwasher, full kitchen facilities, wifi, tvs and DVD players etc.
The apartment had a beautiful view of the sea which we enjoyed from the living room and balcony.
The staff were really helpful; we arrived late at night and really appreciated Mirija spending time showing us where everything was on the map and made recommendations for days out and restaurants. We were also able to book a 3 island Elaphite tour directly with Mirija; the taxi picked us up directly from the apartments and dropped us back after a lovely day out.
The apartment is a short walk (10 minutes) to the bus stop to go to the Old Town, and a 20 minute bus ride to the Old town. The apartment is also a short walk to the Copacabana beach so a really good location.
Welcomed by friendly staff, food plentiful, drinks varied, location spectacular.....swimming pool far too cold at this time of year even for me ( swimming teacher) but the sea was fantastic for swimming. Great homely hotel..... The 4 star next door is lovely too but much more corporate and business feel to it.... Club valamar is much better for families. Great holiday, great choice many thanks x stayed in room 5001 and 5002 spectacular views
Very comfortable beds, especially the pillows. Terrace area for breakfast was beautiful and the range of food excellent although the fruit offering could have been better. Fabulous Spa and sunbathing facilities and even at busy times, sun loungers could be found. Sea swimming excellent but the pools were a little small due to the rock face restrictions. Lunchtime menu was adequate. The evening menu was excellent but top end of price range. There was a frequent bus service into the old city which made the hotel conveniently placed. Staff very pleasant indeed. I stayed with my two daughters, both in their 20s and we all would consider staying there again.
The service offered to us from when we got to the apartment, until the moment we left was second to none. Not far from the old town. Very clean room with welcoming owners catering to all needs. Very highly recommended

This was a nice place, close to he beach, with many of the usual amenities of a good hotel. It is removed from the old town but close to the bus line, so not inconvenenient. It's remoteness from traffic made it rather peaceful.
What stands out to me was the most excellent complementary breakfast that we had. Good, brewed coffee- not Nescafe. A wide selection of fresh fruit. Fresh pastry. What a treat!
Just the power pill we needed to start our day and get rolling.
The location is absolutely fantastic with easy walking distance to The Old Town, the harbour and Lapad. The beach is a short walk away albeit down many steps, but worth the walk. Felix was an absolutely fantastic host giving us great advise where to go and see with easy directions. The Taj Mahal a short walk from the hotel served excellent food, and the bakery beneath catered us well for cakes and bread, albeit not a patch on Felix's wife's cake which we received as we unpacked on the first day. ,
