“A certain for next trip”
We booked the Westin Dublin for our first night in Ireland before moving away from Dublin to explore the rest of Ireland. It was everything we had hoped for leading to a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The staff were extremley welcoming and helpful. The Westin is in a great position to the bustle of O'Connell Street, the Shopping of Grafton Street and to the vibrant Temple Bar area. Will definatley be booking same hotel on next visit.
“Truely superb hotel”
This was a truely superb hotel and I would definately recommend it to anybody! The decor was tasteful, the rooms were clean, the location was perfect - next door to Trinity, less than 2 minutes walk to Grafton Street. The staff in particular were extremely helpful and gracious - EXCELLENT service. Even though breakfast was not included in the deal and initially seemed expensive, the food was delicious and the portions were so generous that one meal easily fed both of us so really, it was not a bad deal for such a high class hotel.
“Perfect location, excellent couples weekend away”
The Westin was perfect for that couples luxury weekend away for some quality time together. The hotel and staff excelled, the location of the hotel is perfect, Temple bar area is 5 minutes walk, Grafton and O'Connell street for shopping are fantastic and right on your doorstep, the Guiness Storehouse is 15 minutes walk through the wonderful city of Dublin and is 'a must' if you haven't been before. The Westin allowed us to check in 5 hours early and check out 5 hours late, superb service in a wonderful hotel, we will stay here again.
“great location”
Fabulous location for Dublin. Close to Grafton street and Temple Bar area. However bathroom a bit grubby ie dirty grout etc, although clean, not what I would have expected for a 5 start hotel. Breafast OK however didn't go for dinner as much better value places in Temple Bar itself
“Great Location”
Hotel perfectly located right across from Temple Bar and perfect for shopping with Graffton St to the left and O'Connell St to the right. Taxi from airport 21euro, airlink bus stops right across from the hotel and is 6euro each way. Although close to temple bar nice and quiet at night
“Fantastic”
We had a lovely experience at this hotel. It was one of our first vacations with our baby daughter and the hotel was so helpful and accomodating. Highly recommended.
“Dream Hptel in a dream city”
I've never been to Ireland and was what I would have expected. The people were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We went to a pub near the Hotel and ate and listened to live music. It was great fun and had to go back the next day to watch the international sport with the bar staff. Should I go back to ireland the Hotel and that pub will be top of my list.
“Good Location, nice staff”
Don't normally stay in a 5 star hotel so were expecting the rooms to be a bit posher, although they were nice and the bathrooms were large. Thought the beds were more confortable than usual, the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. We didn't try the food as we were in Dublin to visit family. The location is great as it's opposite Temple bar but away from the noise, also very close to the shops in Grafton St and near the Liffey. Bewleys on Grafton St is a great breakfast/tea spot. The valet partking at the hotel was useful but you don't need a car to get round Dublin. WOudl stay again but only if we got a good deal on price.
“Lovely Hotel”
This hotel offered great facilities, the Atrium Bar was lovely and I would highly recommend the freshly backed scones - which were delicious. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the rooms were of a good size, comfortable and clean. I would definitely use this hotel if I were to return to Dublin, its got the lot and plus its very central.
“Best hotel in the best location!!”
This hotel was in the perfect location, right near Trinity College and Temple Bar area. Also convenient for the Aircoach from/to the Airport. Great help from the concierges and the room was lovely!!

Area:
Temple Bar - Dublin Castle, Dublin, Ireland: This small enclave by the river was developed into Dublins Cultural Quarter in the 1980s, and soon became the citys nightlife centre. Temple Bar is still devoted to eating, drinking, entertainment, and shopping. By day, its an arty alternative hangout; by night, groups of partying tourists make it a rowdier haunt. Near the famous Hapenny Bridge, Merchants Arch retains some of the areas atmosphere from a century or so ago.
