Good classic hotel

Room originally given was not as per the photo on website but when challenged we were given a suitable room. Public rooms need a lick of paint and upgrade. Shabby chic is now a little too shabby in our opinion. Would we stay again? Yes

World class hotel

Pros: Location the staff and ambience
Cons: No
My wife and I had a wonderful time at this hotel , it's in a very good location just 5 minutes walk from st Stephens green and at the doorstep of many fine bars and restaurants. The facilities on site are fine with a great pool and small gym adequate for everyone.

Wundervolles Hotel in toller Lage

Posted 28-Nov-2014

Every bit the 5 Star Hotel that it is rated

Posted 21-Nov-2014
Pros: Absolutely everything. Great amenities, great location, quick access to tour bus stop.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Perfect location. Quiet outside but a quick walk to St. Stephens Green - Grafton Street - Temple Bar. Also a tour bus stop right outside the hotel.
Could not have been a better stay. Great staff, very clean and classy hotel. The breakfast in the Cellar Restaurant was first rate and the Cellar Bar has to be one of the coolest bars I have ever been in. This hotel is not "cheap" by any means but it is absolutely worth every penny you will spend.

Wonderful Hotel!

Posted 18-Nov-2014
Pros: Historical but renovated, very upscale.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Right beside Merrion Square Park, very short walk to St Stephens Green, Trinity College, Grafton Street.
The Merrion was our first stop of our European holiday. The hotel was wonderful, the staff and food wonderful. The hotel is very centrally located, well within walking distance of Trinity College and the centre of the city. There is a City sightseeing bus stop right outside the hotel as well.
