“Ideal base for weekend in Dublin”
An oasis of calm and comfort in the heart of the city. Perfect base for a weekend. Service was good, room good size, comfortable. All in great hotel
“Awesome staff and great location”
The staff went out of their way on everything to make us feel at home. We arrived at 8:00 a.m. and they had our rooms ready within an hour! Concierge service outstanding and would def stay there again next time we're in Dublin.
“Wonderful hotel in great location”
My husband and I felt right at home at the Fitzwilliam. Service was excellent, the rooms were great with every amenity. We loved the location right across from Trinity College and just a few steps away from great shopping on Grafton Street. Our concierge was able to book several great tours for us and recommended some great places to eat. We loved Bewleys Cafe for lunch, great food and reasonably priced. The Guinness tour and Jamison distillery tour are a must, as are Temple Bar and O 'Foleys for drinks and Irish music. The people here are so friendly and warm, we will definitely return to Ireland.
“Great Dublin location and great Dublin hotel”
The Fitzwilliam offers the best location in downtown Dublin, with very attentive personal service, and modern comfortable rooms. This was my second stay at the Fitzwilliam and it would be my clear choice again when I return to Dublin.
“A wonderful experience”
The Fitzwilliam Hotel is ideally located for all the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. We found the hotel's cocktails and breakfast to be very expensive so we simply walked to Grafton Street where we were spoilt for choice. The hotel itself is friendly, relaxing, warm and inviting. The Christmas tree was enormous and it was lovely to be able to sit by the roaring fire sipping red wine after a hard day's shopping. The balcony looked over the park and the bedroom and ensuite were luxurious. We'll definitely be visiting this hotel again. The only downside was that our room was near the lift - a little noisy.
“Fitzwilliam-The best”
Just spent two nights last weekend at Fitzwilliam, very happy with the hotel, location and services. This is my fourth time in Dublin and and the first time at Fitzwilliam. Other three can't compare to this hotel. We would definitely come back.
“Amazing”
Proposed to my girlfriend over the weekend and the hotel went above and beyond to make it perfect! Thank you...
“Very good location. Right next to main shopping area and walk to museums, etc.”
This is our first time in Dublin. We were tipped to find accommodation around St Stephens Green and that is good advice. After visiting Dublin we believe the north west corner of St Stephens Green is the best area to stay because it is where the main pedestrian only shopping street locates. It is also a couple of minutes walk to the national museum, natural museum and art galleries.

“Nothing Changes”
Returned to the Fitzwilliam after a break of over a year and found to my delight it was still a great place to stay. Previous visits have been work related but the opportunity to return to Dublin for a leisure trip I chose the Fitzwilliam. You can always be assured of a pleasant welcome and the concierge boys are always there for you whether it is for moving your luggage, ordering a taxi or helping to arrange and advise on leisure activities for you. Eat out this time so didn't use the restaurant facilities but if previous visits are taken into account the service a food quality was good. American guests may find the rooms smaller than what they are used to in their home country but overall they will be very comfortable. The rooms on the front expose you to the noise of the occasional late night clubbers and the clanging of the tram cars up until around midnight. Not a reason for concern though as peaceful night's sleep is assured in the comfortable beds. The turn down service for all is a nice touch and the pillow chocolates just to my taste! Other advantages are that you are right at the top of Grafton Street near shops, pubs, restaurants and a short walk to the main tourist attractions. The airport bus stop is only a street or two away and St Stephen's Green is great far a walk after a flight or a busy day at work or on tour.
